Benjamin Bernheim - Gounod: Romeo et Juliette: 'Ah Leve toi soleil'(From Opéra National de Bordeaux)

French repertoire holds a special place in the heart of Benjamin Bernheim, one of the leading tenors of the new generation of singers. Bernheim’s list of recent performances, including the Opéra National de Bordeaux, underline his status as the opera world’s brightest rising star. His Deutsche Grammophon debut album, in which he is accompanied by the Prague Philharmonia under the baton of Emmanuel Villaume, captures the central roles in his current Romantic repertoire, including Charles Gounod's aria from 'Romeo et Juliette'.
Recorded live in November of 2019 at the Opéra National de Bordeaux, 'Ah Leve toi soleil' from Act III of Gounod's 'Romeo et Juliette' features the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine under the baton of Oleksandr Yankevych.
