- Paul Hogan isn't just an Australian - for the rest of the world, he is Australia. First as Crocodile Dundee, then throwing another shrimp on the barbie in those successful TV ads. But back home, he's always been a bit of a rascal, and always good for a laugh. At 77, he's more thoughtful and candid about his life and loves - but just as cheeky as ever.

This guy deserves a knighthood for his amazing ability to make so many people smile and laugh. Sir Paul Hogan. Damn nice guy.
Only 2 icons of this caliber have ever existed in Australia and it's Steve Irwin and Paul Hogan. What Paul Hogan did for Australian tourism has never been replicated since, he put Australia on the map as a destination for millions of holiday makers and we love him for what he did for our economy.
A truly humble bloke who did exceedingly well. My hero.
What a HUGE upgrade when he married Linda! :)
Always LOVED Hoges and I'm delighted to see what a well grounded, normal bloke he still is. Unimpressed with himself, attributing his success to others ... what a MAN, what a true STAR!
"Hoges"?
It's obvious you think the earth is bloody flat!
I always loved him through the Crocodile Dundee stuff. This video showed me so much more of what I had been missing. Good on you, Paul. God bless you.
No matter how many times Crocodile Dundee is on TV I still watch it. I have it on DVD as well.
Me, too, and so does my husband.
@@ProudKansan08 lucky man
T-Bag I think I wasted my DVD and now working on my Blu-ray. It never gets old.
I never get tired of watching the Crocodile Dundee movies. They're such warm feel-good movies that take me back to the 80s
On Blu-ray, here, both movies. Never get tired of them.
Before hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe there was paul Hogan! Let's never forget he was here before
Or even Kylie Minogue or the late "Croc Hunter" Steve Irwin.
Gave us all a great deal of laughter & made our lives a whole lot happier! Good on ya mate! 👍🏻👍🏻
There's a lot more life in him yet! Impressed. He rolls with the punches.Good onya Hoges!
he is one Oz we do love in England, top man.
One of my favorite actors growing up, thank you Paul Hogan for bringing positivity in my life.
Hogan's always been fair dinkum as actors go. He shy's away from the Hollywood glitterati & respected by so many.
What a great guy. So down to Earth, despite his success.
yeah like leaving his wife for slapper
@TheJimmy hahahaha
Paul hogan is a fuking legend who agrees I love this guy
Success??? 3 movies , a show only aussies heard of and a couple tourism commercials?? Yeah ..😆😂🤣 (success)
He should be UNDER the earth mate!
I honestly enjoyed this. What a great life he lived. Respects to him for Not falling into the Hollywood elites . Also was humbling to see Mel Gibson at the awards. Another man that didn't fall in to the Hollywood mess.
An Aussie here.. you made me laugh and smile while growing up in the 80´s & 90´s Hoges…. good on ya mate .
Legendary that's not a legend that's a true legend
Bloody legend! And Delvene is still gorgeous!
Brilliant line about one morning you are just opposites.
His eyes are still just as alive and vibrant as they always were. I've been a Paul Hogan fan since the very beginning.
Paul's just so likable .
My childhood hero and the reason I came to Australia 🇦🇺. Great interview and great interviewer, wow hot stuff !
Kerry-Anne looking just fiiiine!
"Are you looking for love again?" She says with a gleam in her eye.
I get the impression she was well smitten.
Great great interview, Love his fun and humour always have.
Ahhh what a great man, he is my childhood hero, and I still watch crocodile Dundee , I played it to my son's last week and they loved it , Paul will always have new fans aswel as loyalty from his old fans
We love ya Paul ❤
Oh man. I used to love The Paul Hogan Show. I would always try and stay up late to watch it on a Sunday night but my parents wouldn’t let me most of the time.
What a great man and what a smile he has...a face full of sunshine...his character Mick Dundee will always have a special place in my heart!! 👍🏻
What a very 'special' Australian. Lovely video and pleased I saw it. Cheers mate!
Crocodile Dundee is still one of my all-time favorite movies. Paul Hogan was so friggin handsome for his age.
A real man. one of my top five favorite people. just watched crocodile Dundee two today. 😀
He is my favorite actor i love all of his movies his movie almost an angle was really good
Loved the Crocodile movies, but also his Lightning Jack! Rugged good looks and great sense of humor..
I loved Hogan show in the 80's in UK, and as Crocodile Dundee, the first 2 films were something special, sweet and touching with a giggle factor too. Mick Dundee character was one anybody would of loved to of known in real life, well personally I would of like to have.
Manc Daz Mick Dundee was based on a real-life guy, Rod Ansell aka “The Bush”
Paul is such a dude, one of the nicest men to grace this planet with his presence.
I love this guy so much... I hate we all have to get older.. but he's still just as funny and "real" as when I was first introduced to him back in '86.
The actor portraying him has barely one tenth his charisma.
Paul Hogan was (and still is) my hero from Oz, very funny stuff even before the likes of Crocodile Dundee, another great 👍 film that is nearly showing on tv every Christmas and will continue to do so for many more years to come. “Good on’ya Paul,
His tv show looks like Benny Hill Down Under.
pretty much.
My very thought.
Exactly
Nothing wrong with that
learn from the best and you go far ,looks like he learned alot
He made a lot of people happy, me included.
Great interview, still love Paul Hogan,he's honest and has a great sense of humor!
I LOVE Paul Hogan, what a star he is.
A true Aussie I miss that it’s changed so much. Humble I’m glad that he still calls australia home. I love Australian celebrities that don’t forget where they came from
What a class act. That us always the story of Paul Hogan , he never took himself to seriously, and he admits he is not a very great actor, not a lot of range. But it still come to the same thing. A nice guy who treats people as he wants to be treated
Legend in the US too.
No wonder he fell for Linda Kozlowski...Kerry Anne looking good btw
I Love Paul so much!! Such a great man!!
I am a big fan of him since I grew up watching The Paul Hogan Show.

I love this guy! You're great Paul!!
Awesome guy. Good to see he's still with us.
When all is said and done..... the line "..."THAT'S a knife.." just wouldn't be the same without the LOOK and GRIN...like 'YEAH, baby!...THIS is a knife..."...the phrase 'lunatic smile' comes to mind....
awesome to see the humility and pauls humble nature good on ya m8

I LIKE HOGUES, IM OLD TOO NOW AND HAD PLENTY OF RELATIONSHIPS, IM ALSO SINGLE AND NOT LOOKING FOR LOVE, I LOVE THE SINGLE LIFE, OLD AND SINGLE IS REALLY A GREAT PLACE TO BE, KNOWING WHAT YOU KNOW NOW, AND STILL HAVING A GREAT TIME IS GLORIOUS.
Started watching this obscure oddity, "The Paul Hogan Show," on BBC when it was (briefly) shown. So I was well prepared for "Crocodile Dundee" -- one of the great films of all time. Thanks Paul.
This guy is amazing. He has the teeth of a 20 year old
He's got many millions !!!!!!! The teeth, like all other celebrities, will no doubt be crowns
His dentist is amazing.
One of my fav actors!!! He is the Aussie version of my father...LOL!
I never get tired of watching Crocodile Dundee. "Now THIS is a knife!!"
* "THAT'S a knife."
@@rennmaxbeta YEP!!!
I remember around 1980 him doing a skit Saturday Night Fever style. it was so funny I don't know what channel but every once in a while here in the states we used to get one of Paul Hogan's shows. I still remember I believe I cried he was so funny. and then Crocodile Dundee came out and made him a worldwide star. they pick the right place to film New York City. it was a Blockbuster everybody knew who Paul Hogan was. he didn't jump around and do crazy things for a laugh with that little smile of his he won my heart what a great funny man. and when he gave his little talk at the Academy Awards it was so funny I can't believe it's been that long. people still say put another shrimp on the barbie in every language. in the world no worries mate. Paul is still going strong.
From Northridge, California I love the guy.
TheGuerillapatriot greetings from Australia mate😀
He looks amazing for his age. He actually looks better now than he did back in the day!
Rather have his looks from back in the day
I miss the days before political correctness.
Yea, back when the TV was full of rapists and child molesters and abusing your wife and kids was commonplace. Ah the good old days. Everything was better in the past, wasn't it.. or is that just a delusion based on highly selective thinking and most people picturing the past through the massively artificial form of tv and films as well as the ignorant haze of childhood, rather than the grim realities? Anyway, at least you could objectify and bully women like there was no tomorrow, or make fun of disabilities etc.
You know I found a great little interview from the 70s the other day with a woman who was 108 at the time and had lived during the Victorian era. When asked if it was difficult for women back the she said, yes it was horrendous. But yea, the good old days eh - back when women weren't allowed to vote or (often) even work.. back when you could force women to shut up and stay at home and cook your dinner and do all the housework while you f-ed off to your club or the pub and could freely call black people stupid n*****s to make yourself feel big. Good times.
Austin Dyer I’m not saying everything in the past was good. There are things that we are doing better now. But it’s going to far and they are taking the fun out of things. There were programs that brought issues out that needed to be fixed through comedy. Those shows couldn’t be on TV now.
It’s also wrong to say everything in the past was bad! That there weren’t good people and good things done. I have stories from my Great Great Grandmother who lived through very tough circumstances but was happily married and had amazing strength. As through all of history and today there are good and bad people who do good and bad things.

Yeah now you can't tell the truth because someone might need a safe space due to their feelings being hurt. Life before PC was much more honest and real. There has never been a time in history where everything was great for everyone BUT now society is regressing. People get away with murder by playing the race card, saying nothing more than hello to certain women gets you called a sexist, people are no longer permitted to give opposing views on many campuses, freedom of speech is under greater attack than any other time in our nations history, illegal immigrants get free health care (paid by the taxpayer) while lifelong citizens are dying due to lack of qualified care, etc., etc.. Rapists, child molesters and the like still exist today, just look at the internet and the news. Of course many of them are Hollywood names and some seem to be being protected by the royal family, along with grooming gangs and terrorists. Maybe the fact that most men enjoy looking at a woman and her body bothers you but the truth of the matter is it's quite normal and the PC world wants to pretend there is something wrong with that. That is called nature and it's probably how you got here in the first place. BTW, women like to look at men too. Of course, this same bizarro world has cross dressing man-ladies telling story time to children in public libraries. This same bizarro world allows human beings to defecate on the streets of some of the (one time) most wonderful cities in America to the point of there being an actual health hazard to the community. Laws are being passed that allow people to murder children after they have been born but if you did the same thing to a dog those same people would have you thrown in jail. The past you are discussing was definitely far better than today. Like I said, no time was great for everyone but society today is regressing at a rapid rate and liberalism and the PC culture are huge contributing factors. People fail to take responsibility for their own actions, everything is someone else's fault. There is no accountability or respect or humility. Crawl out from your safe space and be a man or woman, there are only 2 genders.
I have a lot of respect for the actor Paul Hogan)) I remember him all my life, even though 2 Dundee films, nicknamed Crocodile !!! Only the most fraternal feelings for such a person as Paul Hogan !!! A real Man and just a great person who will not betray you !!! I respect you and love Paul Hogan !!! I wish you long life and happiness !!!))))))
Love this guy. Hell yeah!
Very truthful man. Unlike most rich and famous. Like the guy next door that's a good neighbor. Hope you out live your mother
Great guy, Mr Crocodile Dundee, down to earth personality and funny humor.
As funny as ever - great interview.
I use to watch the Paul Hogan show back in the 70's.
wow... he looks so different !
i think he had a bit of work on his face.
Before Steve Irwin
There was this Guy.....
Absolutely a legend
Ah , Paul Hogan Show. In the late 80s I would get home from the pub and put Channel 4 on around midnight. He was always there. Loved his humour. Benny Five-O , Donger, him and Strop. Really really funny .
Crocodile Dundee is a legend, don't know how many times I've saw it. It's good to be single Paul 😌 🙂 ☺

G'Day.
A true legend!
Funniest bloke ever :) nice one paul
Love this guy
Always loves Paul Hogan
who says that commercial networks can't make a great exposei? It may not be the ABC, but a great interviewer and and great talent put together on prime time Oz Tv, brilliantly edited makes for broadcasting resilience: "never seen nothin' this good on RUclips"
Why can't everyone be this cool?
Natural comedian ❤️👍❤️
This is so good
Thanks Paul, for making people laugh at ourselves and the world. ✌🇭🇲
Men drooling over women, some people may think it's sexist. It's a question of perception. I see it as women having power over men. At the height of Paul's acting career, he had personality, charisma and stood out as an individual, which made him unique. I always remember him for Crocodile Dundee and his witty lines, such as “That's not a knife, that's a knife" lol I'm glad his achievements are being recognised.
Still a legend 👍
Paul Hogan An inspirational iconic comedic genius 👑❤️🇦🇺😘🥰😍
Absolutely love his movies even the ones people say wasn't successful lol
I am so sorry you went through those painful things.
"Thigh want him to highst!" ....."Nigh!?" Braw. Real gent, aye.
