I love the subtle geometry of the red cymbal's bell. You can clearly see that the shape was carefully honed with tonal consistency in mind, attention paid to preserving the cymbal's overwhelmingly dry quality. And then to top it off with hammering so delicate that most trained eyes would be hard pressed to find the hammer's witness marks. Truly, this is the work of an artist

My favorite unconventional "cymbal" is a galvanized steel trash can lid. Putting it on a stand isn't an option (because it's ungainly and tips any stand I've tried to put it on) so I drove a screw into the rafter above my kit and hung it using a piece of clothesline.

Look man, I had a rough day at work, and then a terrible bike ride, just to find out the park I wanted to go to was closed. But this video made me grin ear to ear so thanks for ending my shitty day on a high note.

I think the dark ride really put forth a good effort, but you really can't beat the high quality craftsmanship of the stop sign.

I really like how the stop sign sounds the same regardless of where you strike it UNLIKE a certain other cymbal

I had zero expectations going into this video. The moment that you struck that stop sign and it made a somehow moist sounding thunk, I laughed harder than I have an a long time

You should do a series of taking everyday objects and trying to jury-rig them into sounding like actual percussion instruments.
