23:50 a couple months ago I made a reddit post complaining about how the Tor and Osa just weren't cost competitive and Madmatt replied and said they would "consider it". And then they buffed the Osa to the same range as the Rapier FSB which is exactly what I suggested, but they completely forgot the Tor.
Actually 3 to 1 ratio for attacking is for an enemy that is not entrenched. Vs an entrechend enemy its 5 to 1 and against an opponent that is entrenched inside a town/city its 8 to 1 required supremacy in numbers. Source: Colonel Markus Reisner from the Austrian Military Academy in one of their "SItreps from Ukraine" videos. So successfully attacking in Warno should technically be impossible. Especially without the Income reduction form having a lot of units (forgot that mode´s name)
Those are rule of thumb and assumes you have no choice other than a direct assault against a defended line. In WARNO and sometimes in real life, there are various terrains, tech differences, equipment availability, commander competency, doctrine etc. that alters the actual balance. So should treat that ratio as a balance of power than actual troops numbers required. If you can offset that power imbalance with something else like cutting off reinforcement routes, then you don't need that many troops.
Thanks for the cast Hippie, was fun throwing smoke around and slugging it out in smoke. We usually minimise mlrs use to handicap our premade lobbies 😂
gg!
Ah fair enough lol
saying y behind soviet divs helps clear which div we are talking about, because well, which 35. do you mean
Thanks!

Minor thing: the Challenger mk 2 is a Challenger 1, mark 2 NOT a Challenger 2, so its not the monster tank of the modern British army.
Yes you're right. I must have mispoken
That darn balance man...

Mount & Blade, respect!
Thanks 👍
