- This is a rare video that was saved on my DVR from a long time ago. Since this video never appeared on youtube with good quality, I decided to upload this excellent footage, with top performance from Amy. She sings like it seems so easy.

Amy was a very good friend of mine and I’m so glad to see her seeing this. It’s been a long time since she passed away and I am also from Camden town. I live around the corner from her house and I’m so proud to be Jewish as well, even though I’m not religious but family She was very kind person and to hear her sing with a guitar with just me and her in the room was amazing and it’s so nice to see this takes me back
You are so fortunate to have personally known such a beautiful and brilliant soul. She was and is the voice of the modern Jew imo. A freaking prophet.
I have a personal painful history, my wife get esophagus cancer in 2007, and I sent an email to Amy for pray for my wife, and my hopes that her answering me was so far, but the life teach me how wrong I was, Amy, personally answered my email, with nice and loving phrases of support, I saved the emails and to me are sacred, thank you so much Amy, I still love you.
That was the most beautiful singing bird that ever lived.

Imagine writing these songs when you’re in the worst position mentally and physically and then those songs made your career. Then having to relive them every time you perform. You can say stupid shit about her performance but every time she performed she was reliving that pain.

I’ve recently started listening to Amy again and watching video of her interviews and performances. I am blown away by her unique talent for creativity and performance but also her sense of humour and intellect. I wish she was still with us and it makes me sad to think of her early demise.

The thing is, 90% of the time , Amy is living whatever she is singing. It's no act, or anything. Unfortunately many greats were the same way, every second of life appears to be filled with meaning or emotion.

I disagree with some of the other commentator's. I think Amy is feeling the pure acoustics of each song. This is a true unplugged performance. She may seem stoic, yes, but I think that was intentional. Her voice is impeccable, she didn't even need the guitar to sound brilliant - pure vocals here, no gimmicks. I miss Amy so much. All 159 people that disliked this video don’t know soul, pain and suffering when they hear it. She poured all her emotions into every lyric. Reliving the pain and hurt she dealt with each time she sang. We are lucky we even got to hear these song and words, most people bottle their hurt and emotions up but she wrote them out and it was something personal to her so that makes it just that much better. I will take this true voice over any singer any day!!

I really truly thought that I was one of the very few that was obsessed still to this day with Amy Winehouse until I found her on RUclips which soothes my soul on daily basis, I must admit I was truly obsessed still am with her talent her beauty just her overall being as well as I can possibly know anything about her physical being because I never met her but I had a very very very similar struggle to hers which just makes me feel for her even more if I had all the money in the world I would’ve skipped the pond and took her to rehab myself and put her on lockdown until she got through the worst Oh my soul cries her

Exactly. Thats why she was so trashed in concerts at the end, bc she could not go out on stage and sing those songs. The words were her life, and her memories. She couldn't relive it - inside thats what really killed her.

The acoustic versions w just one instrument changes every song drastically for me it’s better. 100/10 but it also shows me how good Amy is bc she changes the flow and certain cadences to match the acoustic guitar exactly. if I tried it I would struggle to not sing the original just from force of habit. God she’s just so good. Gone way too soon
