Really enjoying this direction, more raw footage. I'm sure there are other people who would agree that you could have the super edited video or just joining you along the adventure with a more simple/chill video and I'd watch either haha. You will always be my favorite rust youtuber. No matter the quality of your edits. The vibes in your videos is all I care about and they are on point.
As a creative person (traditional artist) I feel we all suffer from perfectionism. One of the best (and most obvious) things I've learned is that the more you practice something, the better you get at it. So its better to produce more with an acceptable quality, than agonize over one single production. We can agree to disagree that other's reactions is a measure of quality of one's work... there are things that are popular, but with sh*t quality (most fast food franchises 😂) but I do realise your challenges as a RUclipsr are different from mine as an artist. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour :)
100% agree on trying to always make every upload better than the previous, I’m having a break for a while to rethink it all cause it just stresses me out too much and shows on the vids. I always watch you mate (on my alt account), even tho I’m old I still enjoy to chill out and play rust.

underwater sub parking method that does not need any removals - place 2 triangle floor frames next to each other. The conning tower (entry/exit hatch) will fit right in between the 2 frames and keep the sub submerged while allowing you in and out of the sub

Jordan I'm just happy I get to see the rust stuff you do. I love the little things, like the little interactions that could only have happened because of your vibe and playstyle, like the one with the slow builder, the dude trying to get on the cliff that you could have shot, the fisherman neighbor, the neighbor who good-naturedly called you out on your terrible attempt at lying). Saddened that the whole RUclips bit was taking a toll on you, but completely understandable that it did have that effect. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will keep watching and rooting for you though. o/

You’re the one that got me into rust. Your content is to this day my favourite. Yes it is not as consistent as others, but the quality is high tier. A second channel is a great idea. One for more laid back content and one for your more thought out ideas. Maybe you should expand your team? Take the workload and pressure off yourself? Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

JordanRants, I love your videos for your personality and the way you play rust. Many RUclipsrs just slaughter everyone but you make Rust more friendly. You still do PvP but are more humble about it. I really do prefer your videos and I think posting more and not overediting is the way to go. I actually like seeing some more of the grind content and like seeing how you get from A to C. Don't skip all the B parts in-between. Farming montages are good. Also consider doing some more Duos.

I'll just say this Jordan, I love your vids because you are actually a decent person and often help people in Rust and do fun things, I couldn't care less about storylines. Regarding being judged by your view count by peers, anyone who judges you by this metric isn't your friend and never was. You do you and keep those who like you for who you are close. Don't get caught up in the popularity game, the hole you try to fill will never end.
I like the format, hearing your thoughts and you talking to your watchers. It's more inclusive and shows you care about us. In my mind, that's all that matters as a watcher. What you do doesn't matter as much as I know from 4 years of watching you, whatever you make will always be worth watching. If it's a challenge vid, a duo or collab, bringing in bliz for a raid or just a generic rock to ak progression... it will be awesome.

tip for doors that you drive vehicles through, just setup a timer switch so it automatically closes right after you pull out and you don't have to deal with closing it manually.

Dont think views will ever be a problem for you Jordan mate, i think more regulars videos would be amazing from you and naturally that will increase engegement and views etc but dont pressure yourself to make other people happy, remember why you first started uploading to youtube i imagine it made you happy/excited tahts how alot of people feel when we see an upload from you, doesnt need to be heavily edited etc just want to see you,having fun and adventuring...love to play a wipe with you but look after yourself mate everything will fall into place and hey! Totally feel for you. I’m a network engineer who is a perfectionist. Networks are never perfect, and I’ve had the hardest journey getting to where I am. The worst part of a perfectionist is the procrastination.. not out of laziness, but the inability to piece together all the details that you feel you need to even start. You said it right, acceptance of “this is good enough” is the only way. I’ve been ongoing that battle for a year now. It’s difficult to even catch. I’ve got 5k solo hours on rust, I just can’t do teams unless I am the only builder and place every single deployable. Keep up the drive brother.
