Hey! I tested air flow temperature change without cold water and with iced water. At 24.7 temperature in room air flow temperature changed from 24.8 without water to 22.6 degrees with water. And humidity raised by 10% . Measured temp 1 m from cooler.
For one room it is ok, better than usual fan. Will drop 1-2 degrees celsium, but no more and need regularly renew ice to keep cool. Can not replace AC, but according to price next to usual fan, I think this kind of pick is better.

Yes. It has button that activates/turns off usage of coolant (water).

Why does my air cooler feels like fan ?
Because it is a fan? Air cooler can make an air just a little bit cooler than only fan (air ventilator) when using iced water.
