THis video inspired me to do my heavy laundry today. Im feeling so refreshed and productive. It is amazing how you keep everything in your life organized and fancy. I tend to lose a lot of my drive to laziness. Thank you for this video and everything:)
Useful tips, Elle! Your apparel always looks so fresh and well cared for. I have one tip to share: I use 'Eucalan Lavender Delicate Wash' for all of my hand washed items. It contains lavender essential oil which is known for its natural moth inhibiting properties and lanolin which helps keep static away. It comes in other scents as well as unscented. Eucalan can be used for all delicates including lingerie, sweaters, baby clothes, bathing suits etc. I wash my "Elle" scarf with it and it works beautifully. I'm a knitter and Eucalan is what I use for my finished pieces.
Thanks for your tips on laundry care especially for cashmere. It’s good to know they can be hand washed instead of dry cleaned. I will be trying this method this weekend.. Bianca is such a pretty girl and looked like she was enjoying her bath... lol
Great and much needed video. Some additional tips - after wearing something use Fabreeze and let it air out for 24 hours . -typically wash everything on cold and gently cycle and avoid the dryer - dawn liquid soap works great at removing stains and do it right away - I always carry baby swipes to try to remove stains on clothes will on the go -I keep a clean old beauty blender in my car in case I have a bad stain and need to remove it ( I also have an old blow dryer in my car ) - I just sprinkle water with my fingers and throw it in the dryer when I am rushed and don’t have time to iron - I have a streamer similar to yours but for traveling or ppl with small spaces can purchase Joy Mangano My Little Steamer Go Mini® Hand Steamer $ 20 at Target/ bed bath beyond / Amazon / Macy’s. It works great !!! I went to a few weddings and it saved me sooo much money
Thank you for the laundry tips Elle. I would have never thought to use baby shampoo. It’s now on my shopping list. Love that you added washing Bebe. The look on her face was priceless. She is adorable.
Yaas! Thank you for making this highly requested video! I just bought my first cashmere knit sweater and I can't wait to use these tips to take care of it and keep it looking new.
Bianca's first bath was adorable. Thanks for the tips on washing Nouvelle Apparel scarves. I got a spot on my blue Nouvelle Apparel scarf the other day and was devastated. I will be hand-washing my scarf using your tips tonight!!! Have a great weekend!
Ik this prolly late but Im having trouble with after washing my clothes theres like small thread balls that sticks and hard to remove ive tried using rollers like the tape thingy that u roll and it doesn’t work... Any way to get rid of it? and also how do u soften clothes again if it became stiff? I tried using downy it doesn’t seem to work on a already stiffed clothes...
My favorite laundry care brand is The Laundress! I think you would really love it! It's pricey but worth it and I can't believe some of the stains I've gotten out of things. I use almost everything from them now and I rarely dry clean anymore and everything smells amazing!
I love these tips and use most of them. Glad to see info about Nouvelle scarf. I wasn’t sure. I also have a steamer that I use all the time and love it. It is worth the investment.
Thank you so much for making this video Elle! I've been wanting to know how exactly you handwash your clothes for the longest. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. Also, Bianca did very well with her first bath but her face showed that she was not amused at all lol. I bet she will stay out of that plant for awhile.
I couldn’t find the exact one, but listed the one I used to use as a single lady before we kept Joe’s professional one instead. It worked great and took up less space
Thanks for the tips, especially on washing the Nouvelle App. scarves. I am so in love with mine, I was actually wearing it while I watched the video. And BB's first bath! Too adorable!
I've been looking for a good steamer, I've never used one before. Does it help with wrinkles? I always have to iron my clothes for them to look crisp and nice but it's so much work and I just don't have the time.
Great video!! I will try using lavender sachets with my sweaters - thank you for this tip!! I like to wash my denim on the gentle cycle and cold with Dr. Bronner's soap. Then I let them air dry. This prevents dye leakage.
Great tips Elle! I wear scrubs all the time, recently bought an olive green collared blouse from Chico's ( really wanted one of the silk ones you recommend, but not in my budget). Any tips for styling and laundering ( modal/polyester/spandex)? I wanted white, but a little too see through.
PS I did have a question .... major B.B. distraction 😻 Have you hand washed your Burberry scarf by hand? I’m getting ready to put mine away for the season and rather than dry clean it - was wondering if a gentle hand wash would work. Thanks ....
Thank you for sharing all of your tips--especially the last one! :o) Do you hand wash your silk DVF wrap dresses and Equipment blouses, or do you prefer to dry clean those? Thank you!
Your videos are amazing! I love all your content including your recipes 😋... you are inspiring! I am from Toronto and actually will be travelling to Vancouver next week for work 😊 beautiful city!
It is so important to take meticulous care of what we own. When I’m too busy to wash (certain) delicate garments by hand, I place them in large zippered fabric wash bags designed for delicates, or even pillow cases closed with a knot for super-delicates, to protect them in the washing machine and they turn out very well afterward. I make sure not to overstuff the bag or pillowcase with the delicate items because it causes stubborn creases and creates yet an extra task of having to smoothe them out. I also use gentle detergent that is easy on the fabric and the colours (as well as my skin since I have a strong contact allergy to brands like Tide).
Hi Elle, thank you for this video. I purchased the halogen ponte pants based on your recommendation. How do you wash that pair of pants? Thank you for your tips!
Hi, great info on delicates, since I do not wear those fabrics the video had little value for me. However, I'm sure they look GR8 on you as you are quite attractive as viewed in the beginning of the video.
Can you share with us where you got the mannequin and its cost? Do you feel buying one is worth the investment for the convenience of steaming? What a great video this has been! Thank you for all the great content you give us!
Thank you so much for this video. I learned new tips and I can't wait to try them. Bibi bath time was SO CUTE . Can't wait for another great video on monday :)
Mostly yes that’s true, although dirt is not as yucky to cats as it is to us. I still have chosen to give my cats baths occasionally because it helps with dander for allergies that friends and family have.
I use a shaver to shave pills too. Be careful tho because if you shave too fast or deep, the shaver can tear the fabric. Pills are the most annoying thing about laundry.
I always hand wash bras and any type of panty hose, and then instead of having to iron I use the dryer for 10 more minutes on anything that has wrinkles...also hang up clean/dry clothes right away! Also I
Merci beaucoup pour tes stratégies de nettoyage! J'ai appris quelques trucs...😉 Je comprends pourquoi tu as de si beaux vêtements qui semblent neufs si longtemps... Bianca semble très calme lors de son bain!
Great, I have been waiting for a video like this for years lol. It remains that nobody can give a great tip on how to remove deodorant stains on white items that add over time. I tried the white vinegar tip for 1 hour before washing but only removes 20% of the stain. Do you have tips for this?
froufou100 Try using one part blue dawn dish soap, two parts hydrogen peroxide, and some baking soda mixed together. Apply to the affected area and the surrounding areas with an old toothbrush, let it soak for a couple of hours, and then wash as usual. It really does work. I have saved many of my husband’s shirts/t-shirts using this method.
froufou100 And by the way, I read somewhere that the green Fairy soap sold in the UK is the same as our blue Dawn. Both are apparently made by P&G. Look into that.
OMG! I have never seen such a calm cat in water ... my comment on repeat - she is adorable....
Thanks for the tips .... 😊
Was she a kitten back then?
THis video inspired me to do my heavy laundry today. Im feeling so refreshed and productive. It is amazing how you keep everything in your life organized and fancy. I tend to lose a lot of my drive to laziness. Thank you for this video and everything:)
you know you’re going through adulting when you are watching these types of videos.
Hello person, from another side of the world

OMG, the cat taking a bath was the cutest thing ever!!!
My main tip is to use powder for white towels instead of liquid it really makes a massive difference!! Cleans so much better and whitens
The cats expression is priceless lol
So helpful, Elle! Thanks for walking us through all your tips and tricks.
Thanks for your tips on laundry care especially for cashmere. It’s good to know they can be hand washed instead of dry cleaned. I will be trying this method this weekend.. Bianca is such a pretty girl and looked like she was enjoying her bath... lol

Hi Elle, Where did you get your dress form? Great tips!!
💖😻too cute to end with fluffy kitten wash! Great tip on the cashmere shaving!!
My favorite laundry care brand is The Laundress! I think you would really love it! It's pricey but worth it and I can't believe some of the stains I've gotten out of things. I use almost everything from them now and I rarely dry clean anymore and everything smells amazing!
What should I look for in a steamer?
I love these tips and use most of them. Glad to see info about Nouvelle scarf. I wasn’t sure. I also have a steamer that I use all the time and love it. It is worth the investment.
Do you use fabric softener? Sorry if you mentioned it in the video and I just didn’t notice...I just woke up 🙂
No, I don’t xx
Yes I love this! I am always trying to find ways to keep my clothes looking better and lasting longer! Thank you!
What do you do for winter coats?
I do dry clean coats and suit wear unless it’s just a little spot
Thank you so much for making this video Elle! I've been wanting to know how exactly you handwash your clothes for the longest. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. excellent tips thank you! could you link the steamer you used? I need to get one asap!
I couldn’t find the exact one, but listed the one I used to use as a single lady before we kept Joe’s professional one instead. It worked great and took up less space

Great tips Elle! Editing too. Helps to see exactly what you do. Love the ice cube trick too. 💋👍 🐱 was adorable!!
You are wonderful and so clever Elle🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️
Thanks for the tips, especially on washing the Nouvelle App. scarves. I am so in love with mine, I was actually wearing it while I watched the video. And BB's first bath! Too adorable!
Great tips! I have always been afraid to wash cashmere. I travel with Joy Mangano’s my little steamer. I also keep one in my laundry room.
This is so helpful!! Would you do something like this for shoe care? I feel like I have no knowledge of how to properly care for my shoes :(
The first thing I said right after I saw you. "Wow she is so beautiful!!" Really unique beauty god bless u.🌿💙😊
I love this video. I washed most of my clothes by hand or sometime in laundry and hang to dry
Hi Elle, I just want to say that I love your channel. Thanks for the tips!
Wow these are fantastic tips!! Thanks for the very helpful video!!
Great tips! Thanks Elle! ❤️
I've been looking for a good steamer, I've never used one before. Does it help with wrinkles? I always have to iron my clothes for them to look crisp and nice but it's so much work and I just don't have the time.
I think it’s faster and also less hard on the fabric as no direct contact
Thank you! :)

So informative. Thank you
Hi Elle, thank you for this video. I purchased the halogen ponte pants based on your recommendation. How do you wash that pair of pants? Thank you for your tips!
Those are fine on cold water in the washing machine. They don’t even need steaming. I usually wash them with my lululemons xx
Elle Florence thank you so much for responding.
Omg that ending!😻
Hi, great info on delicates, since I do not wear those fabrics the video had little value for me. However, I'm sure they look GR8 on you as you are quite attractive as viewed in the beginning of the video.
Scented soaps stored in the drawers also impart a light scent. It's less dusty and it's a great way to store bulk bought soap.😁
Great video! Thanks for the helpful tips! Bibi is so cute! 🌸 🐱
Very good, thanks! 👍🏾
Awesome thank you for the great tips 💕
So helpful, thank you!!!
Great tips darlin and BB was so so good with her bath! 🙋🏻

I have a problem that the color fades away

You didn’t mention what water temperature you use?
30 degrees Celsius for for cashmere
warm, I don’t measure the temperature I just make sure it’s not too hot.
I love your cat!
What a precious, lovely baby
Thank you for this video :)
We have 4 Siamese cats and have never bathed them. They clean themselves, don’t they?
Mostly yes that’s true, although dirt is not as yucky to cats as it is to us. I still have chosen to give my cats baths occasionally because it helps with dander for allergies that friends and family have.
Wow what a good kitty! My cat tries to claw out of the tub like he’s being tortured 😂
What sbout feeling new??? My clothes is gettin damaged help douc:f
Thanks Elle! Still giggling after seeing your tip #10...I don’t think either of my cats would ever allow such a thing 😹
Where do u get the dried lavender from? Don't overbleach your clothes, or they will become holey...
I use a shaver to shave pills too. Be careful tho because if you shave too fast or deep, the shaver can tear the fabric. Pills are the most annoying thing about laundry.
This is exactly what I needed! Thanks Elle!
Great video . The next video would be luxury handbag collection, it’s overdue.
Do not fold your bra ! :-)Thank you for this video !! Do you iron your clothes sometimes ?
I always hand wash bras and any type of panty hose, and then instead of having to iron I use the dryer for 10 more minutes on anything that has wrinkles...also hang up clean/dry clothes right away! Also I

Haha that kitten face!
Thats a lot of work
This is unrealistic lol on the hand washing by hand
You are beautiful
Diligent lady
