Press-on Problems & How To Avoid Them

- Getting press-on nails to last can be a challenge, but if you think about it, there are really only a couple of reasons that they might not last. I haven't included the number one reason in this because its pretty obvious. You need to make sure you have cleaned the cuticle off of the nail bed. I'm not talking about pushing back the skin around your nail here, I'm talking about removing the invisible, waxy layer that lives upon the surface of your nail. Nothing wants to stick to that. So scrape it off. Use some alcohol or acetone to get rid of any oils or lotions and potions off your nail and away you go.

Air bubbles are a pain. You have to be really quick and careful putting them on. I prefer using the lazy girl method for putting my tips on. xx

Yes! Some brands have such a high apex it makes it really difficult if you have flat nails. Not sure who they are making these for lol
I've been asked to review a new brands pressons, but they only had square in stock so I asked them to reach out when they had coffin as noone really wears square anymore. So that will be interesting when they get back to me.
And a new company contacted me today offering some samples of pre decorated pressons, which I'm excited to try, and they have offered 3 sets to give to my viewers as well which is super kind. So we will see what they are like too!

No, not really 😬 that's why you need to take the most care in sizing and preparing and applying.
