American is always the best option for me out of DFW. I don’t need IFE or food for a 2 or 3 hour flight. Just get me to where I need to be. I’ll eat and watch TV when I get there.
Like Deviation said, AA is a point-A to point-B carrier. I can't speak for their premium products but the economy ("main cabin") does not appear to be very service oriented. I said, if you got a ticket for a fair price, a decent seat and a mostly comfortable ride, that's pretty much the product right there. The FA's attention, food/service, etc... are all perks in this class of service, imo.
AA is called a legacy carrier for a reason. They are supposed to offer a higher class of service compared to airlines who put the words "low cost carrier" in their name. But when you can't even offer something as basic as a bag of pretzels, it makes them look like a joke compared to what they are supposed to be doing. It's all about the branding. I don't expect a low cost carrier to give me a snack. So when they do I'm happy. When a full service legacy carrier can't load snacks at a major station, its disappointing on the airline to their lack of preparedness. These are just my personal thoughts however. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I always do appreciate hearing the feedback everyone provides (After all I do ask for it in the video!)
Hi, next time you fly american aa321, could you please get a review of the seats in front of the bathroom and the window view. Also the seats across from the bathroom I think its row 22 ABC and DEF with window view. I'm flying american in Aug and would like to see the view. I know the seats in front of the bathroom don't recline, but I would like the review and window view. Hopefully, you will be able to provide that before my Aug 26, 2023 trip. Thank you very kindly.
Unfortunately I have not had the chance to fly an AA A321 since. I have an upcoming one but it will be after the date of your flight. I recommend going to seatguru.com and comparing you seat map to the corresponding one on the website

I don't really find the lack of IFE to be a big deal. Don't they offer streaming on your device? I prefer my iPad Pro display and Airpods over ANY IFE.
They do offer stream to device IFE. but what they don't tell you is that you are required to watch it through the AA app. And if you don't have said app downloaded before takeoff you are outta luck, as they don't let you use free wifi to download the app inflight
@FLL Aviation that’s not true. all you have to do is connect to their wifi network and you go to their website on your browser and there’s the free entertainment.
American thinks the future is streaming entertainment on personal devices. The flying public has told them otherwise but clearly its gone in one ear and out the other of AA's executives

The seats on the Airbus A321-200 look like the seats with electronic device holders on the Boeing 737-800 refitted with the Oasis cabin.

@@qasimahmed445 They must have changed it recently since I wasn't able to connect when I last tried it that way.
For IFE, you gotta fly with JetBlue.
@@qasimahmed445 I've tried it twice and the IFE option didn't work on my Android device. It only works on iPhones.
Why did they remove the video screens that were already installed? I had a flight with AA in October 2022 and the screens were there.
