I'll have to watch this again. I love the way the water in the foreground draws you up to the distance, and then up the mountain! Thanks, David! And pines are magic, so beautiful!

Très belle démonstration, on voit bien la technique employée ce qui permet de progresser et éventuellement de refaire cette toile.

No, there are so many different type of 'binders" used in acrylics. The mediums only work on certain types. Not all acrylics have the same chemistry. I know, I invented a lot of different types.

Wow, I like the rippling of your water and how the movement of the water splashes against the rocks but not in a real forceful way! Very realistic & very pretty nature scene. Your tall pines & shorter one soften the mountain and add a great deal of interest.

I never comment but I finally decided to give you verbal props. I've been watching you for a few years now and I love your roses and landscapes. I'm an amateur oil painter and would kill just to have my landscape under paintings come out as well as yours lol.. I love your energy, your never-ending smile and your obvious love for the art. May all blessings of the holiday season be with you now and always.

Hi David -- I'm really looking forward to this landscape. I started watching you about two years ago, and I've been steadily learning how to use your wonderful system of acrylic paints and the mediums that make what I call the "Jansen Magic" possible. I'm a beginner -- and so I'm lots slower than you -- but the Extender and Open Medium give me all the latitude I need. I recently purchased one of those cafeteria trays you suggested -- and it fits perfectly (upside down, of course) over my 16 x 12 disposable palette, and keeps the paints hydrated -- even if I have to interrupt my painting for a few days! Thank you so much for that suggestion! I would encourage anybody thinking about investing in your painting system to go for it! Kindest regards to you and yours. JV

I was surprised how well the cafereria trays worked as well! They keep the paints nice here in Nebraska for day. Glad it is all working out. More coming!

Doesn't look to be many outlets for your paint brand in the UK, Amazon do a few, but mainly family packs of colour, rather than individual tubes.

HI David. Having recently retired I have just started painting a few months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos. I have attempted a couple of landscapes and usually dont finish as mostly I mess it up. However I have just managed to almost finish painting fishing the rifle. I am struggling the water though..I eagerly await delivery of my heritage paints and mediums which I am sure should make all the difference.. Could I ask you to explain how to join your group on mewe. I have just uploaded my photo and am following at the moment. You are a fantastic teacher and always with so much helpful information. Thank you so much.
