He was also the only confirmed Jedi kill by Galen Marek. Kota got away, Maris Brood he let go, and Shaak Ti pretty much killed herself.
NeidalRuekk well he could of killed Kota. He found Kota twice after blinding him and to be fair if you put someone in space and left them for dead you would think having no oxygen that he would quickly kill Kota

His story seems like one of the best, went insane and built a replica Jedi temple along with puppet replicas out of junk;I love how dark that sounds.
Although I found him to be the most annoying boss in the force unleashed game, I do feel bad for the little guy.

I have a question why didn't you include Rahm Kota's milita as rebel troops in your "all rebel troops types and varients" video?
TreeckotheRebel They were just a unit within the Rebel Alliance in the Force Unleashed 2, and their soldiers fell under the categories depicted in the video.
TreeckotheRebel But I can make a separate video going over Kota's militia as a separate video, as some of the soldiers he had before he joined the Rebel Alliance were never used by the Alliance.

According to old Canon, Shaak Ti also flees from the temple, but she at least fought the Clones and tried to stop them.
Jen'Ari-Asha Not what I mean. What I mean is he may not have been able to save everyone but he tried and did what he could to live. He shouldn't feel overall regret since really there was no chance of surviving that huge army lead by Vader; all he and anyone else at the Jedi temple could really do was flee

He also had droids that could be programmed to attack the clones to hold off at least a little bit for more jedi to escape
a Character like him should be in rebels how strange it would be for ezra and kanan meeting him in the fake jedi temple

that'd be a nice episode. it would show just how far a jedi can fall in an effort to hold onto broken ideals.

The Force Unleased did a really awesome job in giving us interesting Jedi like this guy, Rahm Kota, and Maris Brood... Also, I liked how they actually gave Shaak Ti a big role in the game, she's always been one of my favorite Jedi,

It’s so cool to see this included. The force unleashed was the first Star Wars video game I ever played, and continues to be my favorite. Kazdan Paratus was my favourite boss, and he is the second Jedi outside of the movies that I learned about, the first being Rahm Kota.

Oh god the nostalgia. Fighting him in the force unleashed on the PS2, was pretty fun. The first fight with him crawling around on the towers was kinda annoying but fun. The second phase was fun as well.

I bet if he stayed at the temple, he could have used his droids to fight off the clones
brandinorich yeah, a reborn sith lord and an army of clones vs him and his droids, which probably nowhere as many as the highly trained clones. Padawans would somewhat help, but younglings would be just meat shields. He would make the battle harder, but he would have definetly lost.
He could have held them off though, and saved some people and younglings.

On the easy setting I am able to enjoy fighting him. On sith master though i hated this fight as it was way too hard

Kazdan Paratus is an interesting case. Due to the fact that they decided to touch with him one subject about Jedi Survivors that was never before touched upon - namely the fact that both Jedi survivors and Exiles could go insane overtime.
that's so interesting to me, the fact that he basically went insane, yet didn't fall to the dark side. his case is definitely one of the saddest ones in the whole of Star Wars lore.

Yes, Sidious had one made of lightsaber ressistant metal. Gungi had a hilt of wood that was strong enough to durvice lightsaber blows and most Saber staff weilders would try to do the same using either Phrik, Cortosiss or mandalorian steel.

I have a suggestion. All Astromech series Droids. I'm pretty sure it'll be in legends though.
Not all of them are Legends, such as the BB unit.
You can just tell by the look on Galen's face when Kazdan dies that this is probably the first time he questioned what he was doing
so Kazdan is technically the Doctor Octopus of Star Wars lol
This still doesn't explain the massive blue energy beam when he died
I can just imagine kaazdans fake council meeting like being a twisted tea party with stuffed animals:
Kaazdan: "would you like anoth spot of tea plo koon?"
Plo koon puppet: "...."
Kaazdan: "oh you would!"
Ki-adi-mundi puppet: "...."
Kaazadan: "Yes master we'll talk about the droid attack on the wookies later"
In the Wii version of Unleashed Kazdan had an even bigger Junk titan that he sat in when Galen attacked, but the titan was no match for Galen and was destroyed so Kazdan jumped out and was later defeated.
You gotta wonder why the Jedi council were probably ignorant to this guys suffering that they never decided to appear to him as force ghosts and say “Kaz, it’s time to stop all this madness, what happened on Coruscant wasn’t your fault. We’ve all moved on, so has everyone else, it’s time for you to let go and move on too. You wanna make it up to us? Leave before your killer comes for you. It’s true, one of Vader’s assassins is coming to kill you, we’re warning you because we care about you, but we sense the good in him. Get off this junk ball, go to Tatooine and help yourself, and help Kenobi protect the son of the chosen one. And keep your mechanic skills handy and in tune because there’s probably gonna be an alliance of rebels soon that could really use an army of robots to help them. You were always better than all of us at thinking outside the box. May the force be with you.”
Then Kazden cries out 16 years worth of grief and guilt
He was one of the most badass Jedi in my opinion. Not just in skill but in personality.

In The PSP version, he had a double-bladed, yellow lightsaber.

I remember when I was little and had a psp, I used to play this game for so long!
I don't necessarily think being attacked by darth vader and a legion of soldiers and getting the fuck out of dodge should be grounds to call him a coward. what if someone broke in your home right now, shot your mom, dad, brother and sister and you're in your room with a window to escape out of. Once you escape, the public calls you a "coward". I feel offended on his behalf. He isnt a coward. He was using wisdom.
I originally played the Wii version of Force Unleashed and that battle was extremely different.
I guess if he died during order 66 he wouldn't have become such a wacky Jedi in TFU .
This is a further example of why Disney Star Wars sucks. I love the concept of a Jedi survivor who went schizophrenic and built an imaginary Jedi council

I never realized he had puppets of the council members in his temple. That's just freaky. I think it would have been a lot more interesting if he animated them with the force and had them attack you instead of his Titans.

Imagine if Luke, Obi Wan, Koda, Shaak-Ti or other surviving Jedi encountering this guy.
Unfortunately due to Kazdan’s mental state; he probably would’ve attacked or at least been unable to communicate with anyone who wasn’t a junk golem, as he firmly believed that all the Jedi were dead.

I don't remember Kazdan's fight going down in that arena in my version of The Force Awakens. BUt I played it on the Wii, and I vaguely recall hearing there was changes for that version.
I remember finding him on the same planet, but when I fought him I remember it being in a dark area, like a cave in the trash, with pillars of trash dotting the arena and fog coating the ground.
In force awakens he was killing me so many times I eventually beat him after a week span of 4 hours
For me this is literally harder than any Sekiro or Dark Souls boss for me, the camera is so bad you might as well do it blindfolded, he never once indicates he'll attack, most of his attacks happen in the middle of your attacks, which is fine if you can tell they're going to do it, but he just flicks his hand and takes out literally quarter of your health.

Fun fact : Kazdan's lightsaber is actually a double bladed saber in the wii and ps2 versions of the force unleashed .
It wasn’t his fault man, he was scared and they were outnumbered. Wouldn’t anyone in the comments do the same thing if they were in his shoes? Gotta say this is the only Jedi death I know of that I actually get emotional about.

So, in a nut shell, Kazden was a mechanic jedi that went insane from abandoning the other jedi at Order 66.
Didn't Kazdan cheat when he faced the trials?
Using his droids during the trials was actually looked well upon by the council as an innovative idea
It was a quite unconventional method to use and the trials weren´t sized for it but it was not not forbidden to do it this way and noone miffed about it
Kazdan does have a physical disability compare to taller and more physically imposing Jedis. Thankfully being a Jedi is not just about brawn so using his mind and creativity makes his trails a bit even.
Kasden is like the most annoying boss in the game but poor guy though he has to live in a place full of junk
