since i'm an asian and ollie said he always ended up cook a rice soup, so here little tips to cook a good rice - put enough rice into the pan/any container you use - wash the rice 2-3 times, don't wash too much because the contents can be lost - pour enough water into the rice, you can measure it by putting your hand (make sure your hand is clean) into the pan/container, and if the water is more than half your fingers then reduce the water. - cook it with a rice cooker or stove for about 15-25 minutes (depending on how much rice you cook) have a nice weekend ollie 😄😄😄

The most basic ratio of water to rice is 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice. If you take some basmati though, you’re good with 1.5 c of water to 1 c of rice (but 2:1 still works, won’t be too mushy.) Basically basic rice, double water to rice, basmati you multiply cup of rice by 1.5. (I eat a lot of basmati rice.)
