- This video consists of tombs of the #Ottoman Empire also called saltanate Usmania's #Sultans, #sultanas, their #princes and #princesses. We felt really honored to see these people laying in their resting places called #turbesi (graveyard). As now a days we have seen many fellow friends are watching #ertugrul and really much liking that series. So we thought of sharing some of their tombs for those of you who are interested in #Turkish #history and their#kings and #queens. It is a way of getting to know them more closely and you can actually see the tombs of some famous #sultanas like #Kosem sultan and #hurrem sultan's #tombs. There are many tombs of Shehzadas too so let's see how many of them can you recognize from your knowledge?
We hope you are liking our #vlogs during these #quarantine days.

We have to learn from this video. Once these people in these tombs ruled over the world and look today they could take nothing with them. We have a saying in Turkey "Even Sultan Süleyman khan couldnt take anything from this World".
Couldn't take anything from this world but he made a history He made proud For istanbul citizens he made he And main point he proof that how muslim powerful.
True, our Catholic priest said too like that
Yes very true. Same with Alexander the great. But he will be known forever and that's a great achievement.

@@MrMadLee Realistically, how many days would you recommend to just see and enjoy the entire city of Istanbul and its surrounding areas? By surrounding areas, I mean around 50 miles/80 km or so outside Istanbul?
My goal/dream is to go to Istanbul and also see Ankara, Edirne, Cappadocia, and more outside area, but I know that might be too much for a first trip.
Getting goosebumps to see Hurrem's tomb and suleihman's.. real meaning of magnificence is their love 💘
I feel sad when I see Bayezid and all the surrounding, smaller coffins, which I assume would be his sons.
Couldn't not really imagine on how Hurrem protected them would end their life miserable...killing each other...not easy to understand why need to have a lots of child to different woman only to be rivals to each other 😥

After watching the first episode of magnificent century i was not expecting that i will love until im on the finale episode. Its very sad that most of them died at a very young age.I thought living in palace is like living in paradise, its other way around.
yuppp, definitely showed me the definition of “no one’s life is perfect”
Addicted here too!
It’s so scary to live during there lifetime the sultan having so many concubines at the end only one son to survive and the rest should be killed.the best history of Turkish the life of ertugrol ghazi the father of osman even osman cause there life is simple tribes not living in the palace.
@@foodandmyjourney8713 yh but when Osman established the Ottomon empire it was neccesarry to have an organised system such as having palaces, having an organised army like the janissaries etc
The magnificient century is really addictive. But according to google, most of the scenes were fake just to make it more interesting. Anyway, great history.

I always think that living in palace is best and most wonderful thinks but after seing how these princes died because of throne, and how people in palace killed I felt like it is better to live in simple life
Me too, now I know God gives me a simple life. No stress and to get to the top is stressful, sad, painful.. The price of being powerful is you have to bear the lost of your loved ones ', your family is your own hands.. What a cruel world. That's why Hurrem said world is belong to wicked.. Ha ha ha..
I also thought same ,they always live with fear of forced death ,they can time even without out ,someone's conspiracy, there wealth is useless if time is not there's
Agree
i agree, after following magnificent century the series,i have learned to appreciate my simple life apart from the torments and treacherous lives of the royalties
Actually there werent die for just Throne this was necessary in a case because The fight for the throne was an element that pushed the state into complexity, even to collapse.
My brother was stationed in ANKARA. He loved the people and the land. MAGNIFICENT

So many little caskets. Makes me sad. So many of their children died young.
Esp if they were deliberately murdered. Fraticide.
When the Shezade became the Sultan, he killed all of his brothers and their male children, including babies. This was to ensure that no-one else tried to claim the throne. This is what Kosem wanted to stop and asked her husband to change the rule. However, her adopted son Osman and biological son Murad killed their brothers and to top it all off Kosem ordered the murder of her sons Murad and Ibrahim. And then she tried to kill Ibrahim's son, but ended up getting killed herself.
@@Femmefatale32000 don't talk here about magnificent century trash and sultan Ahmed didn't kill Mustafa when kosem was not in the palace so it was sultan Ahmed who stopped this maybe because he was only 3 to 6 Months older than Mustafa also Mustafa is 5 years old when sultan Ahmed took the throne in stupid magnificent century 😂😂

Wow, how great is it that we can visit them in the museum.
Those series films of Turkish history made me really respect Turkey alot.... i only knew Erdogan before, i didnt even know anything about Turkey, but now i even know how Ottoman empire is formed out of Seljuk empire
Turks founded 16 of the 27 empires established in history and many states.
Seljuk empire was founded by the kinik tribe while the ottoman empire was founded by kayi tribe

How a leader handles his country is dependent on his strength, determination, and loyalty of the people around him.
Great story. Amazing ! Still on the 7th episode so many yet to see, there are so much plans, strategies, love , friendship betrayal, struggles to be seen. I love the potrayal of each character, you can feel from the hearth the actions, the unspoken words. Even their attire.
Congratulations to the producer, the director, the performers. Splendid indeed.

It is realy historical,, it is was a hard winning battle of Love between death of hurrem and sulieman
Everything belongs to Allaah. Only fools would show pride over what they own, which is actually not theirs. Everything belongs to Allaah Azza wa Jal.
No one say they own it for anything. They all death bodies now and own nothing from this world. Even we have expression that world didnt left to even Sultan Suleiman. This tombs are not a sign of pride, it is just a sign of our respect to ancestors. Selam from Turkey.
There's no Bank Accounts in Heaven. We come into this world empty handed. And we leave the same way. But we will be judged by our deeds, that's why you should pray, for deceased family and friends.
I visited this place and I recited the holy coran for their soul..
