    sir u have given us such valuable lectures, so many topics covered that gate cse student can now prepare at home, u are doing a noble service unlike those greedy people who charge hefty 40k bucks.

    why u taking exponent in middle?? in my book it shows mantisaa first and then exponent????

      He is following the formula given by IEEE 754(32 Bit). That uses Excess 127[2^8-1]. Here 16Bit is used with Excess 63[2^7-1]
