You should test with an empty box. because the foam can absorb water and you wont notice it.

Apache cases from harborfreight.com waterproof and A Lot Lot cheaper.
I’ve tried several of those... They leaked every time.
The apache has a 90 day warranty, Nanuk and Pelican have near bomb proof warranties.
I have used pelicans warranties many times (lights and minor items) and no questions asked. Great service and easy replacement.
But it's your money and possessions.
