- This week we take the 40-minute scenic drive from Noosa to the quaint town of Kin Kin. Known for its art scene and great food. The drive there will give you a feel for the wonderful scenery surrounding the area. Kin Kin is an aboriginal word referring to a small black ant that was common in the area.
Kin Kin began its days as a timber town and was famous because of its much sought-after cedars and eucalypts. In later years it became a perfect area for dairy farming. Nowadays many artists reside in the area including an artist who makes all his pieces from recycled metals.
Kin Kin is also close to a series of tracks and trails called the Noosa Network Trail. Walkers, mountain bike riders and horse riders are all able to use the tracks which are clearly marked.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!

OMG! Ilived in the house next to the hotel when I was a kid we used to visit neighbours on Christmas morning and the adults would have a Christmas drink at every house Looks different in this video than what it looked when I was a kid playing the piano everyday at the hotel next door

@@BethandPaultravel It was actually pretty boring as there was only the pub and 1 street and the main store with a very small post office About 50 residents but it's nice to see how it's grown

We have a special request if you can maybe incorporate it in your future videos. We are vegan and we'd love it if maybe you can shows us if the places you go to like cafes and restaurants have vegan options ☺. If it's too much work then forget about it, it's just that we have so much trouble finding vegan options here so we love to live through seeing what's out there in other places.

We went to a fantastic vegan cafe in Maroochydore with Sarah recently and the food was so beautifully presented and tasted delicious ❤️ The Sunshine Coast has some amazing vegan cafes and restaurants.
