To be sure, his promise to meet and dwell with each soul here on earth is real, if you will but, "be still, for I am the Lord thy God..." So the question becomes, How? How do we "be still". Meditate. Meditation is not a joy ride into a leisurely mode of relaxation. And it's not asking for what you want. This is so significant to me because I mostly only see and hear people praying for and talking about, His eventual return, when right there inside of each and every person, is, His presence, His guidance, if we will only LEARN to listen. But that requires us learning how to shut up, to shut our minds up, to cease our selfish desires and requests and preoccupations. It is not an easy thing when parents and society raise us, push us, to be self-absorbed, and preoccupied with materialistic pursuits. I leave you with His own words. 262-28, "#10. (Q) [69]: I would like to have a message on THE OPEN DOOR.
