The comments are just flooded with "wait for the 50 series". For the record, the whole 50 series releasing situation only applies to the US. This info is useful for anyone that DOESN'T live in the US. Which is the rest of the world in case you didn't know. In other countries (like my own) where the market is governed by the distributors and not the producers, the release of a new series means absolutely NOTHING. At this point when the new series is coming out, the 40 series cards will have hit their bottom dollar here (and they're still expensive af). The release of the new cards won't spell more discounts; the price of the 40 series won't drop lower than what they are now. A 4070 costs 850 in my country right now. When the 5070 releases, it's going to be 1200 bucks. And the 4070 won't drop to below 800 until the 50 series has been out for at least a year, and it won't drop much. To put it into perspective, a 1650 still costs 200 bucks here right now. On the used market.
Is it worth buying a gaming computer with Intel Core i7-14700F, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and 32 GB of RAM specifications? Now I have Intel Cote i3-6006U, Intel HD Grafphics 520 and 8 GB of ram.
I can't walk by this video and not comment. 1: DLLS Frame Generation is a gimmic, it works only in few games. ADM cards at least planning on making it a features for all games, which might support by NVIDIA cards too. 2: AV1 codec is super new and almost nothing supports it yet. I have RTX 4060 (laptop) so I know the pain. 3: RTX is better on 40s series, but if it ain't 4080-4090 don't even think about getting great performance with how well current AAA games are optimized. Conclusion: if you want to upgrade, wait for 50th gen; if you buying new, you can get 40th gen, but 50th is around the corner, so keep that in mind.

If you're getting a 40 series card don't bother with 4060s or base 4070s. You get *at least* the 4070ti Super. It has 16gb of VRAM which is what you want on your GPU nowadays and is close to a 4080 in performance while remaining a couple hundred bucks cheaper. If you're upgrading to a 40 series don't skimp on the price and avoid cards with 8gb or less VRAM.
today I made the decision to upgrade from the 3060 12gb, to the 7800XT, mostly because I wanted the AV1 encoder, and don't care too much about DLSS or Ray Tracing and know AMD $500 card gives better performance then an Nvidia $500 card (I know technically Nvidia is better for encoding, but I have heard the AMD encoder has gotten a lot better and pretty good in recent generations, and also AV1 isn't in 30 series, and I got tired of waiting for 50 series and didn't want to bite the bullet on 40 series.)
Hi Zach, I got a deal for 150 dollars and in it has Rx 480 8gb, I5 7400,16 gb ram 3200mhz 120 gb SSD and 1.5 tb HDD and 600w is that a good deal or should I upgrade something in it?
From 30? Nah that's bad idea. The older your card the better. Just upgraded from 1070 to 4060ti 16G, not also now I can get much better graphical fidelity, it consume less power & generate less heat as well. One of my life's best decision.

I found evga's 3080 10g ftw3 ultra for 373 USD , Should I buy it or wait for 5000 series to come then I buy 4070 super?
And frame generation is pretty solid too
I found Palit 4070 super on trendyol for 639 USD but after I redeemed the discounts It became 487 USD is it good deal?
Thanks Zach I'll plan to get the ryzen 4070
Hi can I get an answer bc my pc is a core i5 8th gen a RX6600 and 16gb ram but will it run beamng? I’m about to buy beamng
Is getting a dell optiplex with a i5 8500 and a rx 5500xt 8gb a good combo for budget gaming at 1080p
the cpu isnt the best choice, since it lacks hyperthreading but if its cheap then go for it
Why do you recommend the Rx 6600 over the Rx 5700 Xt when the 5700 Xt performs better in most games
Mostly because 5700 XT can only be found used. And who knows how much it has been abused. 6600 is still available brand new for peace of mind and warranty. 5700xt also uses much more power. Almost double.
@@dann5399 thanks for your take. i wanna buy used regardless so would you say the only reason then is the power usage
@@henri2300 Yea, 5000 series had issues with drivers during early game releases. But now driver issues non-existent. The power issue is no joke though, it uses 100W more. Calculate your electricity cost by how many hours you game per day and see how much more it costs to run per year. 5700 xt is getting kinda outdated for even 1080p gaming. I would save, and try to find a used 6700xt at minimum.
A third option: the 6650xt has the performance of the 5700xt, with the modern features, warranty, and lower powerdraw of a 6600. Costs abt 20 bucks more than 6600, but it seems worth it
5700 XT does not have hardware for mesh shaders. Right now it's only a big deal in Alan Wake 2 but it's only going to become more important
Hey so im wondering if its good if i upgrade from a ryzen 5 3600 too a 5800x3d paired with a 3060 8gb?
pair it with a 3070 ti or mayb a used 3080
NO! GET A 3060 12GB Do not get the 8GB model!!!!!
I’d upgrade your GPU the 8gb 3060 isn’t good so I’d upgrade that first then upgrade the cpu
5700x and 6800/6750xt is far better
Meanwhile the guy from HD 5500 Graphics to RTX 4080 super 🤣🤣🤣

I have r5 7600 and 1060 6gb what gpu should i buy for 3440x1440p?
5600 and 6700xt if you want medium fps, or a 6800 if you want higher performance
Wait, wasn't there a ChatRTX feature for 30 and 40 series graphics cards as well?
Who waiting for the ryzen 4070 here?
Is a I5 12400f and a rtx 4060 ti a good combo for 1080p gaming or nah
Yes, but you could do better. Get a 5600 and 6700xt. Am4 has a better upgrade path than current intel socket and unless you want to enter directly at the 12100f or 12600k, it's not worth picking up. The 6700xt is a better gaming card by far as well. Hope this helps

I just got a 40 series card from intel hd graphics. Ill simply wait 60 series or 70 series probably

I'll will be getting GeForce RTX 4080 Super, I'm coming from GTX1060 laptop. I am planning to pair the rtx with Ryzen 7 7800x3D
I am going from a 1660 to a 4070TI super 7950xd and my CPU was a i7 9g And my monitor is going to be a 4K monitor was OLED
Upgraded from a 10 series to the 40 series. Probably wont upgrade at least until th 70 series unless a major technology is realeased that is a must.
Could I uprade to a 40 series gpu I have gtx 1660ti and I’m buying Ryzen 7 5700x3d (I already have a am4 motherboard)
today I made the decision to upgrade from the 3060 12gb, to the 7800XT, mostly because I wanted the AV1 encoder, and don't care too much about DLSS or Ray Tracing and know AMD $500 card gives better performance then an Nvidia $500 card (I know technically Nvidia is better for encoding, but I have heard the AMD encoder has gotten a lot better and pretty good in recent generations, and also AV1 isn't in 30 series, and I got tired of waiting for 50 series and didn't want to bite the bullet on 40 series.)
