Awesome, just make sure you don't eat anything at least 12 hours before attempting to finish this plate lol. It's a beast but worth every bite. Thank you! I'm really happy you enjoy my content 😀
That's incredible! I was a chef for over 10 years and built some really close relationships with famers and butchers so I can absolutely appreciate the hard work going into it. I'm a little jealous of how amazing yours will taste lol.
aloha! just ate loco moco for dinner. i can't believe i stayed awake after (double patty, double egg). and no i didn't make it myself. i know it would be even better if i had. cheers!
Oh wow I'm impressed you were able to stay awake after that. You're a champ! That's ok, I would never food shame anyone, your life is yours and yours alone so enjoy it how ever you'd like!😀
Looks so yummy!! Love the bloopers 😆 How would you make a Korean spin on loco moco, besides adding gochugaru? Kalbi marinade on the burger? Gochujang gravy? Kimchi on top, obvs. 🙃
Thanks and interesting question. I would probably start with the addition of fried Spam, since that's common for breakfast loco moco in Hawaii and also a staple in Korean cuisine. I would probably also do a kalbi burger, so ground short rib with soy sauce for seasoning. Lastly I would go for a kimchi gravy, similar to the one I did in the poutine episode. I might have to actually make this now, thanks lol
It definitely shares a lot in common with a classic Salisbury steak. Originating in Hawaii it's origin story is pretty interesting considering it was the customers of a now famous restaurant in Hawaii that actually came up with the dish. 😀
Love how easy this is. And again, lots of useful tips and humour!!!
Admit it, you only watch the videos to see me make an ass of myself lol
Making things with mushrooms is a devious yet good idea at getting more for me that my husband won't eat. 😁
Haha right?! Every once in a while I tell her she has to fend for herself cause I'm craving mushrooms bad 😆
We are making this beauty very soon! Thanks for the recipe. Love your channel.

@@TrystanPetrash we raised and butchered our own cow this year and the beef is beyond amazing. A beef forward dish like this is going to be delicious,

That's amazing I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I'm also low key jealous you had that for dinner and I did not lol. Thank you and you are very welcome 😊
This looks delicious even with the mushrooms on it 😋
Well I guess if you don't like flavour you could eliminate the mushrooms lol. Jk, you do you! 😁
Simple, delicious and inexpensive! What's not to love? Great video as always Trystan!
I know right?! Can't go wrong with any part of this dish. Thanks buddy! 😁

Is is it really 1 tablespoon kosher salt or 1 teaspoon?
LOVED this!!!
Thanks bud! This has become an absolute favorite of mine 😍
I wonder if garlic rice would go nicely with this...
I agree burgers are the best food ever!
They really are!
Just had a venison variation of this.
Excellent is too weak of a word.
To say that I'm envious of you is the understatement to end all understatement 😍
Just to compound your envy, I must add it pairs quite well with a Trappists Rochefort Belgian Ale. 😃
I dare say you are eating quite possibly the perfect meal 😊
And for dessert... Rokeg Blood Pie!
A warriors dessert!
~ v i s c o u s ~ this might easily become my newest comfort food
I have a pretty strong feeling it will be. I'm actually really sad I only recently discovered this existed. Feel like I wasted my life up until now 😂
@@TrystanPetrash what's that saying? "Better late than never"? 😅
@@meaganm3987 haha fair enough 😂
