I’ve tried filming “thrift with me” type videos but I have trouble filming in public because I never want to make people uncomfortable or get someone in the shot who didn’t ask to be filmed!😭😭 it’s tricky and makes it kind of unenjoyable so usually I just post a lot of instagram stories at the flea market because that’s easier to control lol!
I think the gingham/bandanna shirt is reversible so you can tie it in the back!! That makes sense if there’s heading in that side :) so cute both ways!!!

That "novelty" polyester shirt...what is the brand? In the 1970s, I was obsessed with a brand called Nik-Nik and owned 3. You can't find them for less than a couple hundred bucks these days, at least online, and I've NEVER seen one in any thrift store, but the blouse you have and the ones you showed looked very similar. They always had very unusual designs and great colorways. Haha! I know what you mean about the maxi skirts. You simply CANNOT beat a maxi skirt with a pair of cowboy (or other) boots. Sexy, cool, artsy, fun, comfortable...yeah. That look has been, is, and always will be my thing. Outstanding haul, man, seriously.

The more oversized were 32 and tighter were 30! They’re mens jeans so it’s unusual to find much smaller!

Beautiful finds, truly!! My only question is, how do you know the decade they are from? Is it because they told you so or there is a way to verify it? Sorry for being so skeptical.
Certain items, like the Edwardian era dress, were only made during a specific time period but other items will have a tag that I can look up and see when the specific item was likely produced!
Also being into vintage for a couple years now, I can sometimes look at an item and just guess by the structure, fabric, even buttons on it that were used when it was made! You notice similarities between garments that were produced in each decade, it’s wild when you are able to notice it!
@@CarolineTuckerthanks, I guess that’s the answer I was looking for! I am a vintage enthusiast but I can also see resellers selling something as “from the 20s” whereas it can be from the 80s. As we know, fashion trends do circle back and they did back then as well!! Wishing you the same luck in the next thrift trips, looking forward to your next video!

Community thrift in Covina is my fave!! Worth the drove and also there’s some other smaller thrifts within a 10 min drive of it in every direction…you could make a whole day of it😚
