Im looking at building one of these in the future ❤ I owned a 2011 for like 35 days and a guy t boned me and totalled it out. My work has one and I absolutely despise the handle location to get out in a hurry. Then you get the muscle memory of reaching down low to open any door. I would love to do this upgrade in the future 😊
Damn!… thank you bro my truck (crew cab) came with the same folding mirrors and I wanted to do the swap but all the videos u saw made me think I had to do some custom work but I just got some home lol . Do I need to get the panels of a 07-10 Tahoe to match my 07 Silverado ? Also where did you get those taillights? Are those from a 2015 an up?
I did the Denali door panel conversion w the power fold but I just haven’t figured out how to get my lock and unlock to work, how did you get yours to work
Did you swap over harnesses? If you did, you might need to reflash the bcm for the unlock and lock to work. For my truck it was plug n play so everything worked
@@Jenner_LS mines a single Cab so i might have to flash it , I have the z71 cluster you used to have and it has all the park tilt n stuff, but yeah I changed the whole harness so I’ll probably have to figure out how to flash it
@@alanarroyo3510just keep the original harness from your truck and just modify the window switch bezel, thats what I did this week I installed the door panels

Yes the door panels off a yukon XL works, all four but it has to be off a XL, and 50/50 it might be plug in play switches if not you have to mold it like i said in the video
they never in ltz was using they only came and denali's and Escalades but t, e Escalade platinum in 2010 are completely soft touch, but the switch trim is different but of a boat right up though
Can you elaborate further? My truck does nit have power fold and i know on 2003-2006 gmc/chevys all you needed was dl3 mirrors and switches and it was plug and play

Do the cables off the original panels reach the new panels
If you’re referring to the door latch cable no you would need longer ones for the new panels, I believe it is 31” I mentioned it in the video

all you have to do is buy a power folding mirrors that your harness and then buy a different switch for the passenger side and drive switch
