My housemate is Mormon. He always argues that his church is the true church. I keep praying that God will reveal himself to him. Please pray for his salvation!
I had a close friend too, who is a Mormon n says I don't know the truth n he does. Tried to convert me n also harassing me at some point to visit his church n reciting his book to me but I said NO n started praying in spirit n all this stopped. I pray for him to be delivered from the spirit of accult.
Maybe god has revealed himself to him. I’m A member of the church of Jesus christ of latter Latter Day Saint’s and nothing anyone can tell me can make me change my beliefs because of the miracles in my life and the predications made that come to be true.
I got caught up in Mormonism because of one thing -- their spirit of community. Yes, I knew their tenants of the religion was false. But I was also very lonely and my so-called church at the time did nothing to support the members. No evening services, Wednesday night services, or even pot lucks. When I saw a church supporting members and being really friendly, I couldn't refuse. Thank the Lord for the sake of my eternal soul I left.
@Trisha unfortunately, the church doesn't support it's members as it should. I have experienced it myself. We need to pray for them to have a revelation of True love, as Abba tells us. Not to focused on the love like the world does. Family focused other than loving they neighbor as thyself. Like the believers in the book of acts did.
Fallen Angel spoke to Joseph Smith. Let's reject anything that contradicts the Bible. What does the WORD say? "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
but he doesn't preach any other gospel. he just preaches that Jesus has been given all authority on earth by His father, and that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that we may be redeemed if we accept his work for us, and that When Jesus said that there was another flock of a different fold that he needed to bring into the flock of Israel, He meant it and that He went and did that very thing with the people of the Americas after His resurrection. The only "Extra" thing you're speaking of is the fact that now the word of God is established in the witness of Two Nations. Israel and America. think about it. There has always been 2. Father - Son God - Prophet Man - Woman Sun - Moon The Greater - The Lesser
Born and raised a Mormon. All of these are true. Growing up we believed Joseph Smith was a true prophet and we could be Gods. Also heaven was believed to be divided into 3. We used to also do baptism of the dead. We get baptised in the name of a dead person. U can feel the spirits presence so basically we were lending our bodies to spirits. I was 12 that time. Gladly God opened up my eyes. Until now i am still trying my best to understand the bible.
@ Tamamo Ai - good for you. We will be praying for you as you read the Bible. A good pastor of mine once told me to know the Bible really well. Then, you’ll be able to identify when someone is teaching something false. Ganbatte ne!
@@mannahhillstothefield thank you. I still have sooo much questions cause bible is too difficult to understand. But thankfully theres so much resourses out there
Was born and raised in the mormon (LDS) church. I never believed it's entirety even from a young age. I remained active to be part of my family and friend community until my early twenties. Every time I wanted to think about Jesus and discover Christianity I was always mentally tormented by mormonism. Feelings of confusion, shame, fear and more would always come upon me. This lasted until I had a NDE this summer at the age of 36. Since the moment I woke up from my NDE I have not suffered torment and I am coming to Christ with peace. There is a lot to learn and it does require work but I am no longer tormented. I can see and learn clearly.God is good and I am so grateful for his love and mercy, in the name of Jesus!
I am also an ex Mormon stay strong and ask Jesus to deliver you from the spirit of false religion and also if you have been through the temple you will need to renounce the ordnances you got in agreement with and also be delivered from free masonry which is the same rights done in the temple If you live in Utah you I can put you in touch with other Christian ex Mormons that can help you I would strongly suggest for you to get John Romeo s book it can lead you in self deliverance God bless you
I had a NDE that made me realize Jesus Christ is Lord after I grew up Jehovah's Witness. Can you tell me more about your NDE and what it revealed to you?
@@AbstractMindsThinkAlike Hello! :) My experience was very simple and relatively short. I was waiting in pre-surgery for an emergency surgery. Then a couple minutes before surgery I had a uterine rupture. After loosing majority of my blood in just a short few minutes(stage 4 massive hemorrhage with DIC) I instantly was in front of the brightest whitest light I had ever seen. It was so large it encompassed my entire vision and I had to try to look away. I tried to look again and had to look away again. And then I started getting drawn backwards. Once I was removed from being directly in front of this majestic bright light I had full consciousness and ability to think and I knew I was longer in the hospital. I had no worries and I knew I was totally safe and at peace. I was also excited. I was told I was going back and that made me happy because I wanted whatever God wants for me. I knew it would be a blessing to me, that I would get the chance to learn more and walk by faith longer. I had just given my life to God 2 weeks prior when I was experiencing the first part of my miscarriage. When I woke up I realized I was somewhere heavenly/celestial but It was so simple. I only saw beautiful colors in that space. But I could feel that I was being carried or guarded. And as I was being put back I left the colorful area and was in the black and it was like a door or stone was pushed closed. I watched it close till there was no light left. But even being in that black space of rest I was not afraid at all and then woke up. And as I woke up the nurses were so happy to see me. One said..."wow you really knocked on that door". My thought was "you have no idea sister". After that experience I came home and order a bible and I study everyday. I love the bible so much. Our God is loving and merciful. And the truth is simple. Jesus is King! Hallelujah :)
@@staceyvoelzke3322 I never went through those ceremonies. I stopped participating in temple ceremonies after my first baptism of the dead. I wish I had never participated in that, creepy...
@@AbstractMindsThinkAlike All in all it made me realize how simple the truth is. And I just keep that direct line/focus or laser vision for my Lord. It also made me realize in my greatest time of need only God can save me. Not temples, other modern peoples writings and doctrines. And I value that so much now. Sweet Grace and Mercy. It is not what we can achieve but the price that Jesus paid. I can't save myself only Jesus can save me. What was your experience?
Follow no specific denominations, or churches, or pastors. Follow Jesus. Jesus is coming!! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! I made this channel because I felt guilty for not witnessing enough, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!!
I am a former latter day Saint and can say, yes, these are true. Many of these points are what caused me to doubt the church and all but leave. The only reason I say "all but" is because my name is still in their registry, but I don't conform to their system of belief anymore. Now I want to get baptized again, as a true Christian, but don't know where to turn.
My wife's whole family was and is a part of the LDS church. She's petitioned to have her name removed from their records many times over the last 13 years that we have followed Jesus as believers. They refuse or make excuses like they will somehow win some numbers game if they don't. Even as they keep doing baptisms for their dead family members, yes I said what I said. I am thankful that you made it out of that cult as well as everyone else that has. Especially my wife.
@@imjustheresoidontgetfined5269 it isn’t a different gospel it is part of the same one. As the New Testament is an addition to the old this is more words of god. I invite you to read Isaiah chapter 29 and see what it says and ponder the words of god and prey about it.

Thank you for explaining this, always wondered what Mormons believed. Used to have mormon missionaries come to my house but always told them im a christian and didnt want to entertain mormonism. Im blown away how demonic it truly is!
I was a member LDS missionaries knocked on my door that's how I met missionaries. Thanks God I'm out of that cult, the lies and deception of LDS and false doctrine of LDS and temple rituals especially baptism for the dead its scary. They lying saying the gospel they teaching its restored gospel.
How do you explain what happens to those who never had the opportunity to learn of Christ? Most Christians believe they go to hell. Mormons, as any Christian’s, believe that all must be baptized and follow Jesus to have eternal life. Baptisms for the deceased are for those who passed on without ever hearing about the gospel and never had the chance to be baptized. They have the choice to accept on the other side of the veil.
1 Corinthians 15:29, NASB: For otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them? Why would the Bible have this in it?
I went to a Mormon church when I was younger. I was persuaded by good looking missionaries which is part of their technique! Once I went EVERYTHING felt off! Holy Spirit told me to get out of there
My ex brother in law was a missionary for 2 yrs in Australia. He was and is one of the most hypocritical men that I've ever met. The Holy Spirit warned me several times to avoid thier church. I could feel that the presence of family and community were strong, but I felt another presence that was not right. Thank God that you listened.
Pastor could you please do a series on the Seventh Day Adventist. Many people don't realize this is a cult. It has done some psychological and spiritual damage to me personally.
Sadly, most of my blood relatives (my father's side of the family), are but poor followers of the said cult. Praying and won't cease to pray for real salvation as mandated by the Bible. Much love to the unbelievers. Hate the sin, never the sinner. 🙏
I was mormon. I was baptized in 2011. I left after watching a video from Jeremy runnels. He was mormon, in fact his lineage goes all the way back to the mormon pioneers and his whole family are active members. He shares a video where he exposes alot of the errors in the church and how it was founded and the bom and how alot of those things actually never even existed. (Animals, tools etc) he basically points out that the bom is a lie... I still have mormon friends I dont have anything against them but they need to open up there spiritual eyes. When your in the church they teach you not to look at the stuff that criticizes the church, they drum it into you to keep far away from it. I think because there scared that the church will really be exposed and loose alot of there members. I have another friend that was part of mormon church and much much longer then me, they left to after watching this guys video. He backs everything up that he speaks about with facts and history and you cant argue with that.... leaving the church of jesus christ of latter day saints has been the best decision I have honestly made. Now I actually have a real relationship with Christ. I didnt before. It was a works based salvation and i honestly never felt like i measured up. Now I know it's by grace we are saved and not works
I grew up Mormon, but always prayed for my truth. I never felt like I had the truth with the LDS church. I will say they have a great grasp on family… loving one another spending time with one another and that is something that I’ll always cherish and is a big part of my life today I think because of my early days of being in the LDS church. In my opinion they are following leaders who are very corrupt and misled.
"Love one another, even as I have Loved you, by this shall men know that ye are my disciples, if you have love one for another." -Jesus Christ John 13:34-35 He explicitly stated that this is how you will find my disciples. I suggest you re-examine yourself.

Thank you for this upload Isaiah, I've been studying with the Mormon missionaries that started coming around in my neighborhood and I was actually really close to converting but I didn't know what was holding me back for the past couple weeks.
Best way to find out if the Book of Mormon is not true or true is to read and pray about it. The only answer that truly matters in the one you receive from God. Men may make great arguments and reasonings, but the Spirit will show you the way.
This was a good video bro. The only part I was disappointed about is that you didn't point out that mormonism is connected to freemasonry and Joseph Smith was a freemason which explains alot about where mormonism actually came from. My children's dad and his family are all Latter Day Saints. I was pressured to join the church and allow my children to be baptized there. I went for awhile, but left because I felt like the Holy Ghost was warning me that something wasn't right. I'm from a southern church that believes in speaking in tongues, casting out demons and prophecy. Many of my uncles are preachers. Two baptized my children in a river and their grandparents were really offended and called my family's beliefs wrong. But I know I did the right thing by allowing them to be baptized like I was as a child. Everything you said is so true. I've seen it first hand. They also believe you can go to the temple and baptize for the dead relatives etc that weren't baptized before they died.
You did the right thing to leave the Mormon's belief. I also had a best friend that was Mormon and she was trying to suck me in but I had the Holy spirit to guide me to the Truth. We are still best friends and for my surprise she call me one day and tells me she's left the Mormon belief because her husband was living Two lives and she addressed it to the Mormon higher ups and they did nothing he was suppose to be in jail for his perverted crime on children. She divorced him. She's still looking for the Truth she's having problems seeing Jesus like we see Jesus. She keeps seeing the Mormon Jesus in her head. Please help me pray for her to see the Truth. That's just the book of revelation. The author of revelation had no idea that his writing would be included in the Bible, let alone be the last book in it. That happened 300 years later. Mormonism is ridiculous, but critical thinking is also important.
The lord has been showing me the truth about this for a few years now! I actually seen some stuff on it today!!!! They need to come out with the truth!!!!

Unfortunately not in depth enough on J Smiths history. You'll find that he and his family were deeply involved in the occult and he used 'magic' stones to seek hidden treasure and was found guilty in court for being a con man in this regard.
I remember going to a Mormon Church and this man told me the Holy Bible is similar to the Mormon Bible and I’m like no Sir it’s not praying my sister open her eyes and leave the Mormon Church
This was very interesting and somewhat weird to me. Maybe these were older teachings (as Isaiah mentioned) and I was not aware of them. I was raised Mormon. 3 days a week at church, several evenings at member's houses doing "Fireside meetings" studying, and then the home family studies. My large family got up an hour early every morning to read the book of mormon or the Bible together, plus we did something on Monday nights. Anyway, I'm just saying that for 16 years I was exposed to a lot of Mormon beliefs. Man is made in the image of God. I never heard God was Origionally a Man. He was the Creator of everything, how could he have been a man? I never heard that we become Gods, like equal to God, What?? We were to strive to become LIKE God (through works). The "eternal progression," which I heard nothing about, was not the reason for sharing the Gospel. The Mormons are trying to recruit more souls into the Kingdom of Heaven, not unlike regular Christianity. There is heaven and hell, and we have eternal life to spend in one or the other. I mean, do they teach the Children something different than what they teach the adults? The Mormons believe heavily in salvation through works ("Gospel obedience" exactly as Isaiah described it) and it was a very strict environment. I knew nothing about "Grace" or being automatically or unconditionally saved through faith because of Christ's crucifixion. I thought the Crucifixion was what gave us the opportunity to be forgiven through repentance (and works). I think it also applied to removing Adam's origional sin. We did not consider ourselves sinners, innately, unless we sinned. That we are sinners and unable to save ourselves lines up with my own experience of deliverance and being saved through prayer by Daniel Adams. That I could acquire a demonic influence due to things done prior to my generation, or things done to me as an innocent child (Mormons believe children are pure and innocent and perfect), lines up with my experience. I never heard anything about coming from a Star. That's just weird. Jesus was not our "brother." Jesus is the Son of God. Every baptism was conducted and prayer was closed with, "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, Amen." The Trinity, but I thought they were three who operated together, as One (I still struggle with the concept of them being one). And they were Omnipotent. God knows everything all the time, is always with you and every one, and knows every hair on your head, and speaks to you through the Still Small Voice of the Holy Spirit. I received good and wise guidance on a frequent basis and never the opposite. Yes, they Were very condemning of other religions (not Christians because we called ourselves Christians). They were all wrong and going to hell, and we, as children, were not allowed to be friends with non- Mormon children, but that might have just been my own parents. We were certainly discouraged from exploring or learning about other religions, which is the mark of a false and insecure, controlling religion, and I was completely ignorant of the different types of Christian religions. It wasn't until I was older and away from the Mormon fold that I learned about the blight of poligamy, which they are very strictly against and "excommunicate" members who try to practice what they argue is the origional Mormon tenant by having more than one wife. We believed marriage was to one person through time and all eternity. Death does not separate you. We never regarded Joseph Smith above Jesus. Joseph Smith was just the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ... I was never told the Bible was wrong in any way. Everyone carried two books, The Bible and The Book of Mormon, and both were referenced and quoted from as frequently. The only thing I was taught about demons was to call on the name of Jesus Christ and they had to leave. Nothing more was ever mentioned and they were rare, but now I know that's not true. Angles protected you, and were more common, everyone has a guardian angel, but supernatural topics other than the power of prayer were played down. Many things, miracles, were accomplished through prayer, and Jesus performed many miracles, and modern day miracles were possible and happened and were rejoiced about, it just wasn't a central theme. The focus was more on works. Everything was very similar to normal Christianity, except some vocabulary that I picked up the meaning of quickly once I was saved. "Saved" being one of those words. I believe the Mormon church is demonic on the part of its leaders, the members are deceived victims for the most part. There's occult things in the temple they're very secretive and threatening about, which reminds me of Free Mason stuff. You have to achieve a level to be allowed into controlled areas of the temple. People have to do a weird ceremony with their hands as if cutting their throats and disembowling themselves and repeat words to that effect if they reveal any secrets of the temple. My mother told me this. That sounds evil to me and it's the elites running the church, not the everyday members, who are like that. My experience in the Mormon church was one of fellowship and community and strictness, it had a quality of the Amish, yet maybe more secretively judgemental and definately more worldly, though spades less worldly than most Christian religions, at least back then (70's and 80's). If they believe in many dieties and that they become Gods themselves, that is demonic. That's what Satan (Lucifer) fancied himself which is what caused his fall. But you see, the Mormons teach this, so why would they contradict it, in essence saying we are Lucifers? It would have been nice to have had a Mormon on the podcast to answer to these things, Otherwise it's no different than the Cessationist documentary. I'm not defending Mormonism, and I'm not one, but I do appreciate the Bible stories I was taught from an early age. Adam and Eve, Cain and Able, Moses, Noah, David and Goliath, the Good Samaratin, Jesus, the Apostles... I just did not experience Jesus there like I have with the Christianity taught through guys like Isaiah, and Daniel Adams, and Derek Prince, and Smith Wigglesworth, which I believe is Charismatic Evangelical Christianity, though my knowledge is small, gained only in the last year. I would be interested to see someone delivered from Mormonism, if that happens, or hear what any of the demonslayers have to say about it. I think it would be very edifying. Who knows, maybe I could be the first (if it hasn't already happened). Thank you for touching on this topic, it was very interesting.
Your parents must have shielded you from the "God was once a man" and "we can become Gods" stuff. It's in Joseph Smith's King Follett Discourse if you want to read it. Only takes about 10 minutes.
*_THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT!_* These *false cult religions* being thoroughly exposed should cause ALL of us (who have been _chosen and blessed_ by Christ Jesus, not a man) to have a GREATER gratitude and appreciation for the scripture *"You have not chosen* *me, but I have chosen you."* I just _worship_ Jesus when I see that His choosing me was *INTENTIONAL!* And how he kept me from all of satan's planned organized false denominations and doctrines! *What a LOVING God!!!!!*
I was baptized in a Mormon church. My grandma is soooo into this and trying to get me to be. She said she still believes in the bible too but thinks this is along with it.
Yep. Then you are told that families can be together forever if they go to the temple. You have to pay them 10% of your income to be worthy to go. Then you are told that blessing can be revoked if you don’t stay faithful and continue to pay that 10% for life even if they are lobbying for a political issue that you don’t like. Which is super common! They still hold most political positions in Utah despite it not representing the people which means they still basically run the state and do find ways to influence popular vote such as being against medical marijuana which is a god send for those truly in need. A marijuana pill when I have a migraine doesn’t make me loopy like some of the prescriptions they give out or even like some wine. I’ll take a clear head over that any day!
What it REALLy is, is Joseph Smith was a Con Artist. He very likely had Psychopathic Personality Disorder. People with that disorder are NOT what most people commonly think: they don't look or seem bad. They're usually charming and charismatic! Joseph Smith was Charismatic and Charming! And he was able to Con so many people. He made up the entire religion. If you haven't watched the Episode of Southpark "All About Mormons" you really should. Channel exjwpandatower also has a Really Good video recently on the Crazy beliefs of Mormonism.
it’s kind of hard for me understand other people’s kinds of testimonies or lack thereof when I grew up in a strong Christian household. I’m trying to have patience and show kindness to everyone, people all religions, and it’s hard sometimes! One time I was about to leave a store and an older woman and I were talking about our different churches, and it was escalating to an argument. I really did have to go, so I tried my best to say things like “oh yeah welp I guess we can believe whatever we want” and it was getting awkward…but then the last thing she said helped me feel some peace- “Remember, we all worship the same God!” And that’s true. It sad that people would dis different Christian churches just because their prophets sound weird or some Docterine unbelievable. Once we remember that we all worship God, we can also remember that we are all his children :)
Thank you for a beautifully worded comment inspired by truth. I’ve always agreed with this view, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.”
If you are trying to use Genesis 3:4-5 "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." To try and say the first lie by Satan was "thou shall be as gods" then you haven't read the Bible very well. The lie wasn't " thou shall be as gods, knowing good and evil", it was "ye shall not surely die". We know this because 20 verses later in Genesis 3:22 it says "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever" Also Exaltation is taught in Romans 8:14-17, Luke 22:28-30, Galatians 4:7, 1 Peter 3:7, 2 Peter 1:4, Revelation 3:20-21, Revelation 21:7 and was taught by many of the old Christians like St Irenaeus ("Do we cast blame on him [God] because we were not made gods from the beginning, but were at first created merely as men, and then later as gods?”) and St Clements of Alexandria (“Yea, I say, the Word of God became a man so that you might learn from a man how to become a god. So Heraclitus was right when he said, ‘Men are gods and gods are men.") Even St Augustine ("But he himself that justifies also deifies, for by justifying he makes sons of God, for he has given them power to become the sons of God. If then we have been made sons of God, we have also been made gods.”)
Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. Acts 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Went hard after the Mormons in the late 80's early 90's. After years of sitting down with books open, found their weak underbelly and was relentless. In 2012 moved next to a Mormon church and they would take turns standing in the parking lot staring up at my apartment window. They went to my church and convinced them to attack me hard if I tried to witness to a Mormon. Did it once out street witnessing. My church flipped out on me. Been really sick since Dec 2019 and no matter what I do I can't get help. Believe that is directly related. The second-best attack I found was with the first God. "There has to be a first God. An eternal God," I would say. "And that is who I server". First would go through the book of Mormon and a King James Bible pointing to the verses that said God had no beginning. The best one I found was in the garden. Would go through all the verses that said God can't lie and they would always agree. Then would point out either God lied about the tree of knowledge or smith did. Was easy to construct being they taught two very different things about eating the fruit. Mostly went after the JW's because that spirit of bondage was so intense on them. My heart really went out to them. But the best-read person I ever did battle with was a Morman man in the high desert in So Cal that owned a used bookstore. He hated I used his books against his church, but we liked each other because we both had our hearts in the right place. Last time we did battle he lost in the garden and had to concede. It was beyond powerful and very painful for him. His wife made me give my word I would not come back on the way out and I agreed. Not sure what he did next but sure hope he found his way to The Christ...
Thank you for the break down on Mormonism, I have never went to their church, nor did I know what they actually believed. Is was really needed, God's blessings to you , your family and the ministry.
I've posted a lengthy rebuttal to what they actually believe. Isaiah has a completely warped perspective given his background, not that I blame him or anything.. it's a common problem had among clergy that has been lied to by liars. Though he truly cites things that they believe, he also cites things that they believe in a misleading light. again, not his fault.
@@tranceemerson8325it’s almost like CNN or MSNBC reporting on Trump… not the most precise comparison but seems to be the one that keeps coming to mind.
Question for you Isaiah. What do u make of Psalm 82? Talks about us being gods but dying like mortals? I've wondered about this verse for many years. Sounds like "baby god/children of God" talk to me. I'm not sure. Would love to get your take on it! 👍
Psalm 82 is speaking to the unjust, Jewish judges of the day, who were seen as gods by the people. God has appointed men to positions of authority in which they are considered as gods among the people (see Exodus 7:1). They were only men and would die one day. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. *** When Jesus quotes Psalm 82, He says that the statement “you are gods” was directed to those “to whom the word of God came” (John 10:35). That is, those who received the message of God were called “gods.” Jesus had just claimed to be the Son of God (John 10:25-30). The unbelieving Jews responded by charging Jesus with blasphemy, since He claimed to be God (verse 33). Jesus then quotes Psalm 82:6 and says, “If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside-what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world?” Jesus’ point is this: you charge me with blasphemy based on my use of the title “Son of God”; yet your own Scriptures apply the same term to others besides God. If those who hold a divinely appointed office or those who have a divine position in the spiritual realm can be considered “gods,” how much more can the One whom God has chosen and sent (John 10:34-36)? Mormonism uses these texts as proof texts to show the eventual divinity of man. However, neither of these passages is proof that man can attain godhood. We must beware of the lie that the serpent used to deceive Eve in the garden: “Your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). This was a half-truth. Their eyes were opened (verse 7), but they did not become like God. In fact, they lost authority, rather than gaining it. Satan deceived Eve about her ability to become like the one true God, and so led her into a lie. Jesus defended His claim to be the Son of God on biblical and semantic grounds-there is a sense in which influential men and spiritual beings can be referred to as “gods”; therefore, the Messiah can rightly apply the term to Himself. Human beings are not “gods” or “little gods.” They will never become gods. God is God, and we who know Christ are His children. www.gotquestions.org/you-are-gods.html
I knew a girl who was Mormon and she told me they believed you could get into Heaven after death if others prayed for you after you died and she'd be sealed in marriage for all eternity. I wouldn't go to her services or have any part of it.
I’m a Latter Day Saint. I don’t see how my beliefs could be false, or why people say they are unbiblical. And when I ask people, they inevitably end up assuming I believe something completely different than what my theology actually says, and that misunderstanding is why they think I’m not Christian, and not because any of my beliefs are actually unbiblical.
I experience the exact same thing. I'm told what I believe and when I say that isn't true I'm somehow wrong and they know what I believe better than I do. Every time a belief or doctrine is quoted as unbiblical it isn't what I believe or what we're taught. I'd LOVE to hop on a video or even have a conversation with Isaiah Saldivar just so I can be asked questions or even clarify beliefs. Not to prove right or wrong but to create conversation with a source.
This video is little more than “their religion is wrong because it disagrees with mine”. Until you can prove your religion is true it has no impact on the validity of any other religion. Mormonism is false because its claims do not match reality.
I'm a member of the Mormon church but i do not believe there life story i am getting out of it cause i don't believe that there is another book the Bible in Revelations 22:18 says you shouldn't add or take out
I was raised Mormon, there are some things that are not quite right with what he says here but he does get a semi good basis. What I find ironic is South Parks episode on Mormons is perfect. They do believe Jesus is the Christ they just separate him from God, and The Holy Spirit. It's not quite as Isaiah is saying it's more that they are one and also separate is the best way I can explain it from my upbringing. 🤷🏻♀️
I really appreciate Isaiah pulling some information from the LDS website, but many of "their" views he explains are still unfortunately very misrepresented. I'm sure not on purpose, but due to not having more understanding than what he read or understood on the internet. Any LDS member watching this who has studied much is pulling their hair out by the inaccuracies and misunderstanding of his statements. Many are grossly misrepresented, especially that they believe the center of salvation is not Jesus. When he says they deny the atonement as the basis of salvation, that is COMPLETELY false. The most simple way I can state Mormon beliefs on salvation is from the Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 25:23, followed by verse 26 "For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." .... " We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." This being simplified is stating that no matter what you do, you can not be saved without God's grace and the atonement of Christ, and that remission of sins comes from the atonement of Christ, not works. The "all we can do" part comes from being commanded to follow Christ and his teachings, like avoiding fornication, etc. But no matter our efforts, we all fall short of the glory of God and must rely on the atonement and grace to be saved. Will a rapist who dies in his sin without repentance be saved in the kingdom of God if he simply believes in Christ, NO. James 2 18-19 says " Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble". Even devils know and believe Christ is who he is, but belief alone, without walking out your faith in repentance, will not save you. I'd LOVE to be involved in a conversation like this, if nothing other than to clarify or answer questions, not to be right or wrong. Even to ask questions humbly.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was Joseph Smith who taught people were actually living on the Sun in glory! And another early leader taught people were living on the moon...
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Fallen Angel spoke to Joseph Smith. Let's reject anything that contradicts the Bible.

but he doesn't preach any other gospel. he just preaches that Jesus has been given all authority on earth by His father, and that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that we may be redeemed if we accept his work for us, and that When Jesus said that there was another flock of a different fold that he needed to bring into the flock of Israel, He meant it and that He went and did that very thing with the people of the Americas after His resurrection. The only "Extra" thing you're speaking of is the fact that now the word of God is established in the witness of Two Nations. Israel and America.

When the missionaries come to vist, they use family togetherness activities to get a common ground with the people they are trying to get to join
They also falsely claim to be Christians to project a wholesome image.

We do not all worship the same God there is a spirit of confusion among our Christian communities not just inter religiously ❤

This is literally so demonic - “becoming their own gods”..
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

New Age
If you are trying to use Genesis 3:4-5 "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
To try and say the first lie by Satan was "thou shall be as gods" then you haven't read the Bible very well.
The lie wasn't " thou shall be as gods, knowing good and evil", it was "ye shall not surely die". We know this because 20 verses later in Genesis 3:22 it says "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever"
Also Exaltation is taught in Romans 8:14-17, Luke 22:28-30, Galatians 4:7, 1 Peter 3:7, 2 Peter 1:4, Revelation 3:20-21, Revelation 21:7 and was taught by many of the old Christians like St Irenaeus ("Do we cast blame on him [God] because we were not made gods from the beginning, but were at first created merely as men, and then later as gods?”) and St Clements of Alexandria (“Yea, I say, the Word of God became a man so that you might learn from a man how to become a god. So Heraclitus was right when he said, ‘Men are gods and gods are men.") Even St Augustine ("But he himself that justifies also deifies, for by justifying he makes sons of God, for he has given them power to become the sons of God. If then we have been made sons of God, we have also been made gods.”)
No one is a God unto themselves. That's not what is taught.
Luke 9:56
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Acts 11:18
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Only Jesus Christ saved
I had Mormons come to my house months ago I turned away from it..

I've posted a lengthy rebuttal to what they actually believe.
***
When Jesus quotes Psalm 82, He says that the statement “you are gods” was directed to those “to whom the word of God came” (John 10:35). That is, those who received the message of God were called “gods.”
Jesus had just claimed to be the Son of God (John 10:25-30). The unbelieving Jews responded by charging Jesus with blasphemy, since He claimed to be God (verse 33). Jesus then quotes Psalm 82:6 and says, “If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside-what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world?”
Jesus’ point is this: you charge me with blasphemy based on my use of the title “Son of God”; yet your own Scriptures apply the same term to others besides God.

I knew a girl who was Mormon and she told me they believed you could get into Heaven after death if others prayed for you after you died and she'd be sealed in marriage for all eternity. I wouldn't go to her services or have any part of it.
When Satan said you will be like God if you eat the fruit that wasn't a lie, the lie was that they would not die.

God bless you brother Isaiah for telling the truth about of this false teaching cult
Smith was cray cray!!!
