I never get tired of watching this 😆
I love Bode Express!
I had the 5, and the jockey did a great job taking him 4-5 wide and not taking the rail when he clearly would have had a chance. Also was rooting for the riderless horse.
Riderless horse is like, how come nobody be whipping me??
Lol
The horse cannot feel the whip as it’s going so fast, instead the riders use their voices more than anything :)
@@mckennai.921 Quite true. With some of the horses I ride you just give them a command and away they go.
Glad to see Mark Casse win his first triple crown race,he has came a long way now playing in the big league and what a nice horse, his nick name is WOW
War of Will was the horse who was purposefully cut off in the Kentucky Derby, excellent this time they won. This triple crown shows the importance of jockeys and the dangers they face. Thank goodness John Velazquez and Bodexpress are are both okay
So for all those who said War Of Will had no chance to Win the Kentucky Derby, think again...
I've thought again, and I still don't think he'd have won.
Peter Marshall I had $200 to win !!!!!
He's not a mudder. Derby winners & Triple Crown horses have to be mudders. BIG difference. Secretariat won Triple Crown cuz he detested mud in his face. So he HAD to be first on all surfaces. That's a champ. No excuses. Just run & win.
@@davidkent8606 War of Will was my choice at the Derby, and we'll never know if he would have won. I do believe he would have been in the top 3. Whatever. He won today hands down in a clean race.
@@TheFoolintherainn Your mother's a mudder
That man in the Bodexpress gate did not hold him properly in the gate. He needs to be held accountable for his mistake.
fishjungle9 hold him properly how?
See you got it right. *Mistake* so hold him accountable for what? Accidentally holding onto a horse too long. You can certainly say that’s why the horse lost his jockey. But he doesn’t need to be “held accountable” for anything, as it was an honest mistake
He needs to do something else for a living - can’t be making those kind of “mistakes”
@@Melody-285 Your mom certainly made a mistake. Is she being held accountable?
the jockey looked like, "what the...??"
In the future most people won't remember who won the 2019 Preakness, but they will remember Bodexpress. I am usually not laughing watching a horse race, but found this very entertaining. Especially when he made a move on the back stretch. I could only imagine what the jockeys were thinking when pased by a riderless horse. Glad the jockey wasn't hurt.
They weren't thinking anything. They're professional. You think they haven't seen that before? Rider less horses do what they're trained to do. Run around the track. Nothing special.
I'll remember War of Will forever. I'll also remember the narcissistic rage of the MS team < no class.
I am sure they were thinking something. How do know anyway? You don't even know riderless is one word. I was just making a comment. No need to be such an @$$hole.
won't help him when he is shipped off to slaughter. What do you think happens to all of those horses that don't win?
@@janetannerevans2320 They get retired, and, then some Dad, who wants a beautiful horse for his kid, buys the horse, for a jumper. The horse is too high-strung, and, hard to handle, so the kid falls off, and, unlike the jockey here, the rider is seriously hurt. (Happened to a friend of mine. The parents wanted her to have fun... she didn't)
2:39 LMFAOO the rideless horse keeps running😂😂
War of Will was who I was rooting for all the way.. I'm so happy that he won!
Not to mention, he's a handsome boy
Yes, he really is Handsome!!! His initials are WOW, and War of Will is a Beauty!!😎
Driverless cars, now jockey-less horses, modern high-tech.
Hello Wayne 👋👋 How are you doing and how's the weather over there ?
That's really too bad that the starter still had a late hold on the horse thus causing the horse to buck. His fault.
he should b fired
Its like his hand was caught or something. Too bad.
John Velazquez? He's actually a Hall of Fame jockey with several years of experience and he definitely knew what he was doing! If a horse does not want to perform, he won't perform. Remember Quality Road? That horse was NOT having it, it doesn't matter if you have the best jockey, trainer, etc. At the end of the day, the horses will have a mind of their own.
RidingWithRuffian no it was not the jockey. Watch where they have a close up of out the gate...the helper guy was holding even after the start...
@@33sylvia33 My bad, I went back and re-watched the beginning. I see what you're saying and that could have caused an issue. I saw officials talking about it earlier today, John V said he had a "miscommunication" with the man at the starting gait... Hopefully we'll have a clean, non-controveral Belmont!
0:55 i love how my boi is ahead of some of the other horses and jockeys
Improbable : “Hey I bet you can’t run the Preakness without a Jockey!”
Bodexpress: “Hold my beer!”
In the UK, the derby is coming this June. Who wants to watch it?
My fav horses so far-
Maximum Security
Bodexpress
Bodexpress is the true winner of this race
I think the riderless horse should've won.that would've been something.
really would be something if that happened and they allowed it to stand
He wouldn't have, they have to carry certain weights and a -100 pound advantage would have DQed him. Nevermind the fact that to win you must cross the finish line with a jockey.
Had it run a better line, it might have. But as noted, the lower weight is meaningful, and it would have been DQ'd.
If Bodexpress had won even without a jockey, this would have been the most amazing horse race in history!
I must confess....I was rooting for the horse that lost all the weight at the beginning
GREAT RACE ~ AT LEAST THE HORSE WITH NO JOCKEY KEPT UP IN THE RACE, IF THE JOCKEY WAS ON HIM, HE DEFINITELY WOULD OF PLACED IN THE TOP 5, AWESOME HORSE FULL OF SPEED
Watching BodeExpress run jockyless is the cutest thing.
The horse without a jockey was like “ I’LL WIN THIS RACE FOR US! DONT WORRY!” 😂😂😂💀💀
Can’t believe they made GTA 5 horse racing into a real thing.
The whole field should be disqualified for upsetting BodeExpress at the start.
Very funny 😂!
Somebody finished last to a ghost jockey
Should have been a do over
How awesome would that have been if the lone horse won.
HE WOULD HAVE BEEN D/Q
That horse said “ima run this race with or without ya, boiiiii” 😂
That horse just loves running 😂
For bodeexpress, the marathon continued! Respect.
Bodexpress just ran too wide :( he should’ve taken it!
I watched this happen at a restaurant live it was honestly funny and cute that the horse kept running
That riderless horse is better than those with jockeys!😂
BodeExpress be like: "I DON'T NEED YOU RIDING ON ME TO RACE!"
Can't wait to see what happens at Belmont Park in three weeks.
