Episode 2= fantastic! I love the shots and the mix between music, talking nature sounds etc. perfection! I also like how you are not glamorizing the hike, some sections are awesome, some are not, blowdowns suck, bugs are nasty but alpine lakes are glorious and the views are insane. Thanks for another great video Darwin!

I absolutely fell in love with the Bob last summer. I was based out of West Glacier but kept going back to the Bob over and over again, accessing from the east side. Tons of really cool forest service cabins and some of the best horse camps I’ve ever seen. I would go days without seeing another soul, just me and the pup. I did have a couple sketch encounters with grizzly bears but comes with the territory. Thanks for the great content!

I’m enjoying watching you it’s quite a flashback of memory. My wife and I did the first 400 miles of the CDT in the 90s. Started in Waterton ended at the bottom of Yellowstone. State of the art equipment was our Dana design still water backpacks, 6.5lb empty, base weight of 40 pounds, we must’ve been pretty Studley to carry those. Glacier was like a resort compared to Bob Marshall. At the time the trail head at the Bob Marshall was not well marked it took us a day to find the trail from the campground next to the road. I don’t know if they still do this but they used to take the “bad bears” out of Yellowstone and glacier and relocate them to the Bob Marshall.
