    Honestly, Im from NA so I dont really watch this team play, but I have so much more respect for them after they bring up that women deal with alot of toxicity and that they all said they would love and can see mixed val teams. Like that's awesome. I feel like alot of guys would not want a female on their team. But I'm not a guy so idk how they actually feel. Just I've dealt with alot of negativity in this game which is the reason I can see men saying they don't want that. Really like these guys now!

    • @elizabethcabbage9817
      @elizabethcabbage9817 5 месяцев назад

      It's really frustrating to see so many people view this issue as one-dimensional, as though the one and only reason it hasn't happened yet are that women are of a lower skill innately, rather than that there are so many factors and most of them are only loosely related to the game itself.

  • @SeniDoll

    3:20 I LOVE Enzo's immediate, no hesitation step towards the "agree" side! ❤💪

    • @elizabethcabbage9817
      @elizabethcabbage9817 5 месяцев назад

      My only thoughts with that question as a whole is like, if I were being asked the question I would step towards the "strongly agree" side but even thinking about it rn I'm not sure I believe that it *will* happen within the next 5 years, but just that I sincerely *hope* that it does, and I think that as far as the players are concerned there's good enough players on both sides.
      But this also goes to a rant I always have *about* women's sports/esports teams, and how I think it's inherently goading on sexism: that they can't comfortably be on the same team only furthers peoples comments that it's because they're not players of equal skill, even though in most cases where it's allowed but there aren't any women on the 'main' pro teams it has more to do with the team's image and/or the comfort levels of having the entire game's community commenting on your existence as a woman in a pro team (if that makes sense)
      Sorry for the random rant on your comment haha.

    • @prkgwn

      back in 2017 people said the same thing about csgo, "its only a matter of time before female pros conjoin with male pros and make a mixed roster" 6 years later theres no signs of it, the only ever closest thing to a female in a male pro team was geguri who was a female tank player who played professionally in the overwatch league for the shanghai dragons, i think stating that it will never happen isnt true, but at the same time i cant see it happening in the forseable future @@elizabethcabbage9817

    cool content having the players speak their mind. I see the question about the mixed teams as the most interesting one and thought about the problems on why it hasnt happened yet. first to crarify I see the term VCT as tier 1 or franchising not the acendant/tier 2 scene. besides men outperforming woman by nature in competitions usually. this might not be the biggest hurdle here as the female pros are taking a big career risk to play in mostly unexplored waters. worst case scenario the team they are in dont get good or similarly good results as the gc team they were previously in and you not only miss out on vagely 1 year of playing as pro but your career will be seen as less promising to the future teams that could pick you up. pair this with the already lower pay of gc players/tier 2 scene to the tier 1 VCT and you might be done with the game at that point as pro. with that said with the current pay and valorants reach not expanding much further I dont see a insentive even in 5 years without any woman succeeding and giving others more hope to try it as well.

    It’s painfully clear they don’t actually know what its like to play with fandoms. So many people try to pick up the game but its so insanely toxic that they never touch it again. If you aren’t a god people will pick on every little thing about you and tear you apart and the rest of the team either doesn’t say anything or joins in. If I could mute commas entirely I would. I took up valo bc I’ve been really sick for the past few years and I needed to see progress in something, but I have a lot of ups and downs and the community honestly makes it feel like fighting isn’t worth it sometimes.
