Yes, I always advise my friends/relatives not to hesitate buying diesel if they really have the need for diesel. Diesel engine cars can't be banned in next 10 years atleast...Even after 10 yrs govt can force manufacturers to reduce diesel engine production or impose some additional tax but can't ban immediately.
Sir, with due respect to your analysis, from 20:18 to 21:00, "may be" is usually used as an affirmative order in formal documentation [a polite way of ordering]. Eventually, are we moving towards a public transportation model 🤔

Here, would like you to clarify that for those who buy diesel cars now, what will be the fate of its re-sale value? Will it have to be sold either within the life cycle or after completion of 15 years for a near ZERO value? Is it better we but diesel cars now with the mindset that it will fetch NO VALUE when we try to sell it within its life cycle or after its life cycle? Pls clarify.

I'm MotoFam 🏡 from Chennai Planning to buy used Skoda Octavia 2.0L TDI Diesel BS4, this is my first Car. I got love for diesel from watching your videos. The only fear I had was that government might ban diesel 🥲 in future like in 4 years or so? But we know that the feasibility is not possible and it's unfair to ban diesel cars which is already a dying segment. But government should focus on strict regulations for factories and their public transport first and then move the trend to start banning BS1 and BS2 vehicles maybe. I personally feel that in the covid lockdown too the air quality doesn't drastically change or didn't purified enough even though all vehicles are prohibited to use that time... Because major contributor like thermal power plant and essential industries are still producing green house gases and caused the pollution. So I feel banning diesel cars will only bring insignificant results. And suddenly if all diesel car owner becomes petrol head then petroleum demand couldn't be met properly. Because let's say each barrel has 10L petrol and 10L diesel. Now after the ban the demand for petrol becomes twice and they also need twice the barrel to maintain demands. So it's improbable to implement drastically. How reliable is VW group's DSG 6 Speed, does proper maintenance of changing transmission oil every 10km is enough? Or do I need to do anything else?😅 I have seen your user guide to buy used car. I have got the idea to check engine condition using transparent smoke and dip stick smoke. But how to check the condition of clutch in both manual and automatic transmission. Is there anything I should check on that 6speed dq250 gearbox before making my buying decision. It is better to use trolley Buses as EV buses carry dead weight of batteries and disposal of it is another issue due to its pollution
