- King Charles recorded a powerful Easter message for the Royal Maundy Service praising people who “extend the hand of friendship, especially in a time of need”.
It is the King’s first public words since the Princess of Wales revealed that she was undergoing chemotherapy.
Charles also apologised for not being able to attend Worcester Cathedral with his wife Queen Camilla.

I am not sure how many monastery restorations he has been involvrd eith. I just know about his involvement with the Hilandari Serbian Monastery on Mount Athos. The restoration of ancient buildings is one of his passions. He has a strong intetest in the Orthodox Church as his paternal Grandmother was Orthodox.
So I would not be quite to quick to foubt, if i were you.

And yes, it is the only Serbian Orthodox monastery on Athos and Serbian Church is grateful for that donation. I know that his father was GREEK Orthodox.
