I have one of these, found your videos today, much better for me to watch your videos than read that manual, I just wish I had 4 arms when putting it together !!! Thank you for the easy to follow videos.
many thanks from the Netherlands for the instruction video. We are not really technical and have no experience with these types of devices. We follow for new equipment very carefully the manual. But with this device we have been struggling for a day with the manual for the assembly of the scythe mower. We find out after your video that the manual is wrong. Fortunately with your explanation and showing how it sounds together, we have come out.
You are very welcome. I also followed the instructions in the manual, the ones in English, however it is not so much the wording at fault as the drawings are unclear. I am pleased to have helped. Please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!
Linked in the description is parts 1 and 3, 3 has it running. The external spline goes in to a socket with an internal spline. If your shaft has a square socket it is not going to work. Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!
I am on my second one of these things as the kill switch stopped working after very little use. Contacted Lidl who refunded me as unable to replace like for like. Bought another one 2 months ago and guess what? After maybe a dozen switch offs the bloody kill switch has given up again! Only way to stop the thing is to disconnect the HT lead! So annoying. I’ll continue using it as it has a 3 year warranty. It’s either a design fault or a batch of faulty switches. 🤬😡🤬
The manual should have a phone number for Lidl service in there, though if you can measure it you could also probably get a suitable primer bulb from Amazon. Many thanks for watching! Please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!
Odd. Short answer is not because it has not happened to mine. However you can just get it changed for a new one at Lidl. Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!
Followed your instructions for brush cutter and seems to work. When I followed the instruction booklet and tighten the nut it jams the blade so it won't turn. Thanks
I read those instructions. They are what I followed, but are not desperately clear. I could see how you could put things on incorrectly from there. Also I don't think the line drawings are clear. The washer that always stays on (with the cut out to allow you to jam the mandrel) looks almost the same as the flange washer that goes on after the blade in the drawing. I think actual pictures would have been better, though an instructional video better still, though, of course, I made one.
There is a Lidl service number in the manual. What are you after? Similar strimmer heads are available on Amazon. Also, many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!
I also have a video on the strimmer head. However this one looks like a reasonable replacement. M10 x 1.25 left hand thread. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089NQBMNN/?coliid=IEYAQAEUZ3PIY&colid=5X5HSLDJMO93&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it

@@BensWorkshop thanks! Didn't see that. Going to fiddle with it tonight. Here the product is sold in the Netherlands. Same kit.
Enjoy!
@@BensWorkshop Do you also have 3 years warranty? At what rate do you mix your oil to benzine? 1 liter oil to 50 liters of benzine or 1 on 40?
All Lidl tools have a 3 year warranty. The instructions say 40 to 1.
