- This is our video about the Kochi Biennale 2023 and Fort Kochi! Located in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Kochi is a vibrant city with a rich history, diverse culture, and stunning architecture. This video explores the Kochi Biennale, one of the most prestigious art exhibitions in Asia, which brings together artists from around the world to showcase their work. As we take a stroll through the charming streets of Fort Kochi, a historic neighborhood known for its colonial-era architecture and bustling street markets, we showcase the city's art, culture, and history. Don't miss out on the opportunity to immerse yourself in Kochi's vibrant arts scene and unique cultural experiences.
- ABOUT US -
Hi! We are Pooja & Shravan, an illustrator-engineer duo from Bangalore brought together by the love of travel and adventure.
We have traveled together since the winter of 2016. On one such trip, we started documenting these travels on a humble phone camera. We soon realised that we really enjoy capturing these experiences. We are entirely self taught (students of the internet) and have learnt from binging on brilliant creators over the years.
In our videos you might find glimpses of places that are not spoken about enough. We always vouch for spots that are somewhat the underdogs. Our vlogs are sometimes vlog-ish and sometimes a documentation of the place as we see it. We hope that watching these videos will bring a little dose of joy to your day.
We love reading your comments and hearing your thoughts.
They motivate us and help us steer our creative path.
With love,
Pooja & Shravan

- CHAPTERS -
We don't believe in Chapters. Like how music albums are meant to be heard in full and not as individual tracks, we believe, that our videos are meant to be watched as a whole and not as chapters.

Amazing video guys. Keep rocking
Hey thanks man Shashank!😄😄
❤
Again, did full justice to Fort Kochi! Lovely to see the colours. (It will soon be like a Mini-Europe ish town, i suppose). There are more venues of Biennale which you would probably have checked out. (Shravan I'm with you here, but we got food anyway!!, Also Pooja, your art is awesome and you would enjoy it). I have heard none of the tiles in the Synagogue are exactly the same, all have minor differences. Couldnt spend long enough to spot them but I will try that next time 🤣. The Kerala series have been shot so beautifully it has filled me with nostalgia and I feel like going back home now! Love to you both :)
Thank you so much Abinaya…this means a lot to us. Specially coz it’s coming from a Keralite 😁😁.
We have something new cooking…it should start rolling out in a few weeks 😄😄

I totally forgot to like the video while I got immersed in it.. and 👍ed it@ 9:22 😅
Thank you :-)
Done with Kerala series
Great.. something new coming soon 😅😅
It is believed that local jews were here in BCE they were a major community in kerala who lived in different parts of kerala(not just kochi). Paradeshi jews came later during the period of 17th century. But there were division among these two community bcs they werent expecting any jews here and they were dark in colour too which is again surprising to them. I believ they never mixed as one community both lived here peacefully untill the arrivel of portugese. They left kerala after the creation of israel you can see white people there who can speak malayalam just like a kerlite
And you got one subscriber today♥️
interesting video, loved it, btw, which lens do you use for shooting?
Thank you so much. We use the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
@@PoojaShravan nice , the frames look really interesting and good narration, good work!
@@potatostories thank you 😁😁
9:22 hahaha 😂
The synagogue is in Mattanchery, not Fort Kochi. Fort Kochi area was ruled by the Portuguese/Dutch/British, but Mattanchery was under the sovereignty of the Maharajah of Cochin.
Hey thanks for the clarification Ashwin. We were of the opinion that Mattanchery was part of Fort Kochi since they were on the same "Island" like part of Kochi. Looks like we were wrong :-)
❤️🩹🤝🤛
Thank you 😊
🥹❤️
Thank you 😊😊😊
If I'm not wrong, the Jewish population dwindled after Israel was created. A lot of them emigrated. Btw, I've never really been to Kochi 😭. '25 Biennale I'm planning to go off you pliss come off if free.
Essss! Let’s do😄
They are asking "how malayalies make good movies ?" Here is the example .....
❤
Thank you 😁😁
