- Leo Major tricked an entire German unit to evacuate city, allowing Major to capture the city by himself. In this crazy video of a brave Canadian pirate sniper out to prove himself, he takes a huge risk approaching a German held city, and somehow manages not only to survive, but take the city single handedly.

The guy wasn't even sharing its prowesses until late in his old years. His wife was shocked when she saw how he was welcomed like the hero liberator that he was during a military commemoration in the Netherlands, even she didn't know any of it.
He was also extremely empathetic for such a warrior. He went out of it's way more then once to spare lives and take prisonners.

As a Canadian, it's not technically true to say we have a 100% winrate. While we've never LOST a war, we've tied before (1812, for example). So while we've got a 0% loss rate, it's still not technically a 100% winrate

CBC and the liberal left want us to only remember politicians and Social justice warriors . The only history we learn about in high school is the conscription crisis . Nothing about brave Canadians who fought and died . I actually listened to one teacher who declared Russia won the war pretty much by themselves and totally left out Russia was an Allie of Germany who pilfered Poland early in the war and of course left out all the atrocities . Nothing against germans or Russians for that matter but at least tell students all of the history and not use it for personal political propaganda .
we actually were, but only briefly. A lot of it has to do that many Canadians while proud of our countries accomplishments, see it as rude to boast.

The history of Canada is more about why was Canada involved and they forget to just add that Canada fought here and fought there and these brave men acted on our behalf in Canada and should be remembered that freedom has a cost . @@Tony-ih1pg Which is also why his story was unknown for most of us Canadians, especially since he refused Montgomery's medal as he hated him and his incompetence killing thousands of our fellows (he also refused to give the "intelligence" documents to a British officer who asked to give them to him, stating that he was form a Québec Regiment and as such would only give them to a Canadian officer)... Though he's inspired a Hollywood producer who came out with the Rambo idea.
