I've fished (waded) several creeks and rivers in middle and east Tennessee . Here's a suggestion: While I haven't seen any episodes of Creek Fishing Adventures except for the most recent (April, 2020) , I can tell you from experience that a Rebel Teeny Craw crankbait and a size up from that work excellently for Smallmouth, Rock Bass, Warmouth Bass and Kentucky Spotted Bass. Give it a whirl. Also, a black jig with black hair skirt coupled with a dark pork rind trailer also do very well, especially early in the spring. Later when the Rock Bass go on bed, ( usually about mid to late May in Tennesse) the Rebel teeny Craw works wonders. Throw across any rock sticking out of the water or one that creates an Eddy and reel it across. Rock bass every three out of five casts. My creeks and rivers> Mill creek, Nashville, Harpeth River in middle Tennessee, Duck river in middle Tennessee, ( Duck is excellent for Rock, Smallmouth, Kentucky spotted and Largemouth.

Thats the area ya lead me too. Around the bend in Ga by the Cotton Patch camp ground. We fished and hiked so much Miss Susie began suffering from sleep deprivation. So we were forced to RTB. (i didnt know what was wrong with her til next morning and she got sleep. I dont know what i dont know til i learn.) I am becoming so fond of that area... Jacks River is a must for me. No idea how it will turn out yet isnt that why we do what we do?? We camp when we go, fuel costs and time are part of equation but mostly its because we enjoy camping. Most Outstanding video!!! Thanks for work and effort you put into this for us....

I hiked in there back when I backpacked and MTB and before Susie and returning to fishing. It was closed due to high volume of traffic but is open again. If I recall it required about an hour or little over doing the trail. Maybe 90 mins. I was always do'n 100mph in those days. One of my Blessings is being able to be present enough to fish again. God Blessed me with with Susie and Inspired me to fish creeks up in the hills. So you've always been " performing His Work"....you should know this. At least i want you to know this.😁. Well, back to shuffling gear and food for trip.

Nice video. I've fished that river my whole life but from the Georgia side. Usually do a half day float down in my dad's john boat.

that sounds easier than walking all over the place. I'm planning on fishing it again this spring. What do you usually catch where you fish it?

Usually Spotted Bass and Longear Sunfish but my dad caught a Crappie this past Thursday. That's the first one I've seen taken from that section of the river in a long time. I've been using a white Mepps Dressed Aglia spinner for the past couple years and the bass eat it up but yellow Rooster Tails work pretty well too.

Really enjoyed the video buddy. It seems like the Conasauga River is a really nice place to spend a day. I've never fished there before but would love to in the near future. What part of the Conasauga were you fishing?

thanks man, you should definitely go there. Its just a little drive up to the snorkeling hole where we were fishing at. that's the main place where people go to visit. the water is always clear and clean.

I have caught some nice spotted bass out of this river, check out “my best spotted bass” video. If by red eye you mean rock bass I caught a big one out of a creek that’s one of my videos. I’ve never caught a rock bass out of this river
