- Gary has annoyed James. Again. This time it's over... suitcases. They can't agree on anything - especially not on the subject of whether a dog can learn tricks.

When somebody has brain damage after a traumatic accident, telling them that they 'behave like a child' is ridiculously rude. James you are a colossal jockey of the cocky.
Stephanie and James have just guaranteed Gary's BB victory. Congratulations.

funny isnt it, james wasnt scared of audely so he kept telling us, but he shat his pants when gary told him to stand up in the 1st couple of nights, he knew audely wouldnt hit him thats why he wasnt scared, he had no idea about gary though, alpha male alright, no alpha male claims to be alpha, only wannabes do
This reminds me of some of the footage I've seen in the news showing abuse in nursing homes and other care homes for vulnerable people. The smirking, giggling and the fact that other housemates remain silent, shows how this sort of abuse can continue in the real world for a long time without being challenged. Sometimes it takes just one person to stand and say 'Hold on, this isn't right' no matter how annoying or challenging a person can be. I remember Bez in Big Brother 3 telling the housemates about their treatment of Jackie Stallone, he of course ended up winning. Treat people how you would like to be treated.
There is also the view that you "should treat others how they treat you" which would argue for James and Stephanie, never the less James is out of order.
Very true Teresaa Beatty - it puts me in mind of The Stanford Experiment (on youtube if you haven't seen it) and just how quickly others not only look the other way but can end up joining in the abuse.

James's nasty streak let's him down time after time, however frustrating it may be with Gary, his tone is way too much, I'd suggest anger management lessons.
Respect is a two way street, just because you are older that does not automatically earn you respect, you have to be respectful of others too, then you will gain the respect you rightly deserve. Gary needs to learn this for he is extremely rude at times.

Gary is do rude, honestly don't understand how people don't realise that we are being shown what BB want us to see. Even when he was nominated for burping in peoples faces, barging people, being rude he didn't disagree with any of it.

have you ever thought that maybe they exagerate his behaviour and it then becomes their truth? you know pack mentality and such. perfect example on live feed the other night, Dee was talking to gary normaly in the garden and getting on, she then went inside when they finished talking and the 1st thing she said was "gary cornered me outside" and made it look like he was forcing himself in her space, gary shouldnt be barging the others, he shouldnt be slapping them.
Gary has more integrity in his little finger than James could ever have. I'll never forget some of the things Gary Busey said in that house. He was an inspiration.

im amazed big brother allows people like james,stephanie,george,ricci and others to be so horrible to gary.he is trying to do the right things,but still they all have a go.hes 70 for christs sake!this is gone on from day 1.when ricci did face to face noms and said what he said about gary,steam was coming out of my ears!!audley was warned twice about his "behaviour" towards kellie,but no-one is helping gary.

GerryB97 - many of us were raised to be respectful to our elders and some of us retain that standard - even if they are rude. People can become cantakerous as they get older, allowances need to be made. We ALL know that James looks after Gary because James keeps on reminding everyone that he does but insults Gary by referring to it as babysitting - that is disrespectful; no-one forces him to do it and he cleary doesn't want to do it, it's just a way of earning brownie point (which he then throws away by opening his nasty mouth). The British are very quick to judge, as you have said, those who are hypcrits and show disrespect to the elderly.
Thing is Gary has achieved a lot in his life, people like James are just nobodys

I can't believe I'm saying this but James is right. Why do people always have to use Gary's age as an excuse to defend him. If he was being rude, then HE IS RUDE. HE's OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT. Not many people know that James has actually been there, looking after him more than the other housemates hence why Gary didn;t have the heart to nominate him. PLUS Gary is very hypocritical, he interrupts people's conversations but doesn't like getting interrupted. Why do people always have to think the person who stands up to something is always the bad person. The British public are so quick to judge people.

As before you give us James mouthing off but don't give us the thing that started it. James is an ego-maniac but i'm not judging this based on no evidence but word of mouth. I will say he is NOT bullying Gary. If he can't help the things he does he shouldn't be in there. He riled people up on Celeb Apprentice, too which i'm catching up on now - go see the Meat Loaf clip from the first series he was in where Meat (mistakenly) accuses him of stealing his paint and blows his top (he did two series and you can see the exact same problems occurring there - Gary takes offence at other people being rude when he is the one being rude and inconsiderate himself. He has no social awareness whatsoever). It seems he does play up his disabilities. You can't have it both ways and like him for being himself but then dislike the others for having to cope with someone who "can't help himself". He's not being himself - "himself" last appeared in public in the eighties.
