That Tigertom was missing all the apexes, then messed it up when he was following too. He knew he was going to be on a RUclips video and could not take the pressure.
He reminded me of me from my sim racing days. Relatively fast but inconsistent--better in qualifying than in the races themselves. He'll probably be good at the game someday, but he's not there yet, and I never will be because I quit a couple years ago. It takes a lot of work to bridge the gap between above-average and good. Even more work to bridge the gap between good and great. Wasn't worth it to me.

22:40 you dont actually get a penalty for running wide at t2. You get a penalty for entering t3 from outside the track. This is why you weren't penalised but 1st place was earlier in the race. It means if you do run wide you can just pull it back on the track for t3.
As ever, you've made alcoholism fun Mr. GT. And your warm-up/pathfinding was 10 out of 8.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the analytical breakdown of track limits and braking points at the beginning of the video was great; I hope to see more of that!

Great racing against you briefly on lap 3 R4M SHADOW GT brilliant move on the last chicane by yourself it’s not normally a 2 car corner but your momentum and greater speed deserved some respect and racing room 👍🏻

You know when you're behind somebody you've always at a disadvantage... it's because of how you shift... when you're out in the lead or clean air your shift points are on point but when you're behind somebody you leave it on the limiter too long. when you should be shifting earlier than when you normally would... because you're in the slipstream... watch the video.
Shift earlier then? The only disadvantage to being behind someone is dirty air but you also get the benefit of slipstream on the straight. What you've described isn't a disadvantage, that's just bad driving.

Hold on, I thought "dirty air" described the hot and low on oxygen that's behind a moving car that causes the engine of the car behind to perform less efficient. The loss of traction just being an effect of the slipstream.
Nevermind did a quick google, I was wrong SuperGT is right. Wonder where I got that bad information from.
