Hi, can I use telephone numbers that I collect in the check-out process in Omnisend SMS campaigns? Or is it only for the numbers collected through the opt-in forms?
Hi there! Absolutely, you've got it right! Phone numbers are collected through the checkout processes of ecommerce integrations such as Shopify, Bigcommerce, and Woocommerce. For these integrations, the phone numbers are synchronised after an order is successfully placed by your customer. Please note that for Woocommerce phone numbers will be synced with non-subscribed status (meaning you can only send transactional messages to them). Hi there. I'm using Shopify. If someone abandoned cart is their SMS considered as a subscriber? Also if they have purchased are they considered a subscriber with sms? In both these cases , can I send SMS to them anytime I want? Cheers
