Nice reaction Just wanted to clear some stuff about the Ceren hacking scene I think the reason there are huge time gaps between experiments is because they are sending the experiments back in time and then looking through old newspapers to see how it went and document the result in the way they did or else i wouldn`t make since for them to be doing time travel for over that many (without PCs) Hope u get my point (not a native speaker).
Thanks for the shout-out! Yeeah alot of the minor details of the characters are from the visual novel the anime is adapting. The anime doesn't really mention these details of them being college students. Okabe, Kurisu and Daru are 18.. while Mayuri is 16 and still in high school. Also non spoiler, Steins Gate is just one of Okabe's chuuni made up words for "fate," hence his catchphrase "this must be the choice of Steins Gate!" Its practically one of the first lines written in the visual novel. Just mentioning it because the anime doesn't ONCE go into that very minor detail on what the term Steins Gate is. 3:39 Fun fact that little exchange between Daru and Kurisu is a little otaku inside joke. Daru was quoting a 2chan meme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventures. The full original quote is "That's just what you'd expect from Dio! He does something we never could! That's why we love him! That's why we adore him!!" The reason Kurisu coughed awkwardly there is because she was finishing the quote Daru was saying. Basically outing herself as just as much of an otaku nerd as the rest of these weirdos 😂 its a running joke throughout the series. Kurisu just cannot help herself quoting memes fully continuously exposing herself as an otaku.
I don't think that 'Steins Gate' means fate, this could be an interpretation of the phrase, not The meaning , because 'The choice of Steins gate' is a meaningless phrase.
14:40 I dig this lady's outlook. Most of Steins;Gate's talkie bit are mostly madness and otaku culture, but you CAN'T miss those vital lines tha5 do happen. So, best to take it all in, and laugh, awe, and cringe to your heat's content.
