I’m loving Snowflakes and Cashmere. So comforting and elevated smelling. Another good ones is Fireside Flurries. It’s kind of addictive. I can’t stop sniffing my arm when I wear it and it’s so lovely as a bedtimes scent.
I'm with you, Shaughnessy, I just can't get with Winter Candy Apple anymore. When I was younger, I used to love it. I only have a travel size in it now that I've actually had for a few years....and, there you have it!

I took advantage of the $4.25. FFM sale this weekend - i got wrapped in vanilla, starlit night, forever red, magic in the air, strawberry and snowflakes, vanilla mocha martini, dream bright, snowflakes and cashmere, iced sugar plum. Much of it was a blind-buy, because the store was packed with shoppers and associates, it was hot and stuffy, I just couldn't browse comfortably so I waited until i was in the car to do sniff tests. And i had the same reaction to Magic in the Air as you - i said aloud at a redlight, "oh, that's PRETTY." 😆 I also got this year's vanilla bean noel body scrub - it's full of the colored confetti, glitter, and smell s very warm and cozy, I enjoy using it SO much. I really enjoy bbw Christmas scents, so I really enjoyed this vid. Hope all is well in your life, Shaughnessy! 💜
Hunni I paid Mercari prices for Magic in the Air when I ran out so YOU KNOW I love it!!! My vanilla bean Noel smells almost smoky to me. I can’t lie I don’t remember how long I’ve had it. I love love love these videos!!! I’m about to fill my cart for the lotion sale tomorrow 😂

I do really love Snowflakes and Cashmere! I think that this year's version might be a bit lighter on the clementine...I do not smell that citrus note! I don't enjoy florals so I am a bit worried that I will not have the same reaction as you to Magic in the Air! But I want to love her...for the name, to have that magical winter feeling and for the new packaging every year!!!😘

Well, now I'm going to go out and get Magic in the Air, lol! :D I don't know if my nose is off or not but I get a really pronounced graham cracker note in Iced Sugar Plum that I was not expecting at all. And I LOVE Strawberry Snowflakes as well and have been wearing it a lot. I get a lovely musk in the dry down that I just can't get enough of. I don't have Bubbly Rose but I did get Bright Christmas Morning and it's okay.... again, my nose might be off but I get a faint stale beer note in it??? The star of the holiday fragrances for me though was Dream Bright, I really like that one a lot. Loved the video Shaughnessy. I look forward to them.
Honestly, I think you're onto something about FFM marinating for a while and smelling better after time. I got straight up alcohol for Winter Peach Marshmallow last year but at summer SAS, I couldn't get enough! In June I got a FFM and finished it in September! I have like 5 more.

That's SO funny that you said Bright Christmas Morning smells like Bubbly Rose - just Today I had pulled out my Bubbly Rose from my "spring" box, because I knew the scent notes on BCM sounded familiar. And, YUP!! I could have skipped buying BCM, because they are SO similar. If anything, Bubbly Rose is slightly prettier, and Definitely stronger. Thankfully, I like the scent enough that I'll probably keep it. But, I wish I would have known, because I'd have gotten something else instead.
I literally wore twisted peppermint today. I keep pairing it with ancient cosmetics peppermint body butter . My daughter has a vanilla bean Noel from 2016. She still holding on to the little bit of juice in it. We both have the one from last year I gifted it to her and she’s barely used it . I don’t have trouble smelling it either .compared to 2016 it’s faint though 😂
I was disappointed in the Christmas scents overall. I took several back. The only ones I kept and loved are Fireside Flurries,Forever Red and Strawberry Snowflakes in a mini (it’s super light but very pretty). My biggest let down was Vanilla Mocha Martini. I thought sure I would love it but it was straight black coffee and chocolate to me.
I liked the Iced Plum... it's heavy on the Marshmallow. I bought Fall Into Bloom to mix with it so it can bring out the Plum more, then I'm going to spritz some vanilla on top. In my mind I smell scrumptious 😋 we'll see. Let me know if you try it.

Fireside Flurries is one of my favorites…so much so I will use it as a room spray 🤷🏾♀️😁. For me the Vanilla Mocha Cream made me nauseous and I returned it, but the Vanilla Mocha Martini doesn’t do that. Who knows…
I felt the same way about VMC last year!! There was something about it that smelled so off, so I gave it away. Bought this years’ and it’s so much better!
Omg I’m kinda on the fence with winter candy apple bc to keep the maple leaf note sticks out a little too much but everyone else loves it so I wear it sometImes! I was a little bit scared to get twisted peppermint bc it reminded me of toothpaste but this year I wanted to like it and thankfully I liked it more! I’ll probably pair it with other scents!
Also poolside pop from 2017 smells punch like. Have you tried any adwoa hair items. Ive some coming and want to try the baomint kit as well as more blue tansy items.
BBW disappointed me this year because they did not bring back “A Thousand Christmas Wishes.” I am having high hopes for “Prismatic Stars” because obviously they aren’t going to have my favorite “Frosted Cranberry.” Bright Christmas morning I agree with you: it is “nice,” and light; I find it refreshing but I think I know what it is a repackage of: grapefruit frose. I will use Bright Christmas morning a lot though because My family feels the need to blast the heater bland I am sweating and would prefer to wear some chocolate vanilla mocha or coconut scents but they nauseate me if I get hot. If you are the type of person finding yourself wearing shorts and t shirts during the holidays because you are working out and cleaning and cooking and getting hot, bright Christmas morning is on the lighter citrus side and will work but it isn’t beautiful; It is just clean and fresh.
i fell in love with star lit night. is berry sugary version of in the stars. i don’t know how this year version smells but i’m afraid to get it bc all their fragrances this year been so light. i hate i just started liking it this year lol
Bright Christmas Morning smells like Summer Melody to me. Like almost Exactly alike but of course summer melody has a stronger melon note . But I compared them side-by-side and almost identical! I was like wait a minute 🤨🤨. let me know what you think !

I also did not love Bright Christmas Morning, it's sorta sour. Of course my favorites are Vanilla Mocha Martini and Strawberry Snowflakes which I can't exchange for.
Sugar plum drives me crazy too and not in a good way. It smells nothing like plum to me. And the marshmallow instead of smelling fluffy it almost smells doughy. I smell no dark fruity plum whatsoever and that's what's driving me crazy. It smells like a doughy gourmand instead of a nice dark, deep Sugared plum

Maybe try starlit night after xmas after all the gormand smells we have been using lately. i used it with the body lotion and fell in love with it. I was mad i didnt get a back up last year. This sas im def getting one. & i dont get winterberry wonder either lol.. its just ok. I don't grab it becuz it just doesnt do it for me.

It has the same base as pumpkin pecan waffles and berry waffle cone. When I first smells pumpkin pecan waff I fell in love so I stocked up but it smells like a foot, just stale and nasty.

strawberry snowflakes reminded of fireside flurries on the dry down. it’s a smoky toasty note that’s not mentioned. the strawberry note doesn’t stay

I want them to bring back Vanilla Noir and that chocolate amber fragrance they had way back. Also ILE DE TAHITI and the banana one.

Starlit Night is nice. It smells like a sister of Ariana Grande Cloud. That BR540 scent profile. Very soft and feminine .

I have tried some items from them. I liked everything in the discovery kit and I tried the blue tansy hair mask and liked that too.
Frosted Coconut Snowball w/ Ariana Grande Cloud is my most and only complimented layering combo. I don’t get that much attention with MFK 540 😂

This years vanilla bean noel smells like sour milk/vomit….and alcohol. So nasty! It went right back to the store. It’s BAD this year
