Most villains normally laugh in the face of their enemies, they think there'll never be a point where they could be defeated. You've got to give Hopper credit, he wasn't foolishly arrogant like so many Disney villains, sitting on a throne, believing the dwarves in the forest or the mice in the manor could never become a threat. He knew his power was fragile despite his size and strength and minions. He was a competent evil overlord.
Imagine if he was a more powerful villain instead of a mere grasshopper. Scary thought.

Yeah. Despite his ruthless nature as a greedy bandit leader, the guy-no wait, the BUG is very wise and understanding of his own predicament with the ants he manageably subjugates, being a large enough population to start a full-fledged rebellion against him. And look at how analogical or allegorical Hopper was when he initiated a comparison of an average ant with a bean seed and throwing one at one grasshopper lackey of Hopper's gang, another seed at another hopper, then he rips the canister off, letting a waterfall of seeds cascade onto the ignorant, foolish and boastful bugs, burying them (I don't know if that actually killed them, who knows? It's Hopper after all, that ruthless, remorseless, evil son of a bitch). Hopper makes a representation with the food they foraged from the ants of one out of many ants that, with one spark of flame in their hearts, will have the potential to rise up and retaliate against Hopper and his faction ✊🏾

A literal grasshopper was smarter and scarier than most villain archetypes. Well flick led him to the bird. He gave into his rage over losing because of flick at that point and it was his downfall. DanHan on the contrary: it has more to do than you realized.
The power struggle that Hopper embodies is precisely what Dumbledore meant about tyrants fearing the people they subjugate. From what we can surmise in the movie A Bug’s Life, no ants prior to Flik ever had the brass to stand up to Hopper and his swarm. They all demurely gave in without much fuss. But then, when Hopper went too far in trying to brutalize Flik to make an example of him, the ants all realized that they were greater in number than they initially realized.
      See? The parallel is clear.

A very great lesson to be learnt here. A tyrant, bully, oppressor is a coward and full of fears. That’s why he uses his power oppressively to keep his targets down, so that they don’t gain the courage to stand up to him. He is afraid of losing power and being humiliated. He does everything in his power to crush resistance. The histories of dictatorships, autocracies and fascists are great examples.

Hopper is, without a doubt, the greatest Pixar villian of all time.
I can't think of any other bad guy from the Pixar films that are as cruel, sadistic, serious, manipulative, and intimidating. Syndrome, Stinky Pete, and Lotso had sympathetic backstorys. Hopper, on the other hand, was just pure evil.

You're so close but not quite there. There's a reason the concept of "global elite" is so popular especially among the right. It's a nebulous foe of specific people connected in tenuous ways. This rhetoric exists to distract people from the more fundamental, systemic root cause that is wage labor and class society.
The ruling class of your own country, public and private sector, are just as bad in a vacuum as they are on a global scale. And when I say ruling class, I don't just mean individual CEOs or politicians, I mean the systemic framework that allows people to enter those roles to begin with.
