Rocket Week

inspired by the most recent moon landings and SpaceX flights, the children at Burnham Market primary school took part of the week of science, technology, engineering, art and masts as we celebrated ROCKET WEEK!
Starting with a short play and workshop, all about the first moon landing, the children then worked in their classes on rocket themed writing, coding, art, and even rocket building!
But that wasn't all! As part of their home learning, the children even built their own water rockets, which we launched on the school playground in a spectacular display of water rocket flights!
A truly wonderful week, which has hopefully inspired a new generation of rocket builders and astronauts!
