at 14:49 with that musical tone and the cloudy sky in the landscape took me back seven years to your first videos when cloudy skies were common in those adventures. i take this as the continuation of the saga you left unfinished of buying gold prospecting tools with the money earned by digging gold out of the creek.
Thats the type of plastic you could heat with a blowtorch and remould it into a bateya pan, you could even mould in a pouring section on the lip with heat and a small pipe and for just $5, thats another easy yet entertaining video idea
Chris you amaze me. You have just shown in this vlog that you don't need to spend lots of dosh to be able to go out and find gold with something not made to find it. Anyone (like me disabled) who can not go out and pan but can buy pay dirt occasionally and get the thrills of finding gold would find this type of item ideal to spend a couple of pounds on & become a gold prospector😃 When I can buy some pay dirt from you I will be able to enjoy finding my own. Thanks Mate 😊👍
So Bruce is good for prospecting gear as well as anticancer protection 😂. Just need the kitchen sink and and a dunny all set, hang on bruce does those too. Life is good!!! Merry Christmas everyone.
I'm writing what I thought before acknowledging the comments, and you look like a tourist, thanks for asking we are fine after the drop (glad you worry about us). The pan is great, you might want to heat up a metal comb and make some bigger ripples in it (or whatever tickles your fancy). Enjoy, and good luck from Brookly, NYC Chris! Yes, Dan Hurd is smiling.
Chris I must say, that is awesome footage of stratification. If I saw this a few weeks ago, I could have saved myself a lot of money. As I just bought a brand name panning kit. I'm off to the big green shed.
Your sweating lookin like a younger version of Dan Hurd prospector. Here it was 6° F this morning and 15° tonight with a wind chill of 0 🥶 Yesterday 5" of snow! Love your channel Chris!!! Happy Holidays!!
Great show of what you can use to get gold. Even if you had also bought some pvc for the tabby pump and a cheap shovel, with that day you would have paid everything off. Well done. Thanks also for visiting the feed the other night for support. Think everyone enjoyed you being there 😁👍👍
Gotta say, where you live...anyone willing to watch your videos (on where-ish and how to pan) and hit Bunning's and spend $5 on that pan can make $$$. Improvise some crevicing tools, bring a shovel and some type of pry bar and get to work.
Ahhh The sounds of a wild Chris when the gold first shows in the pan, I have a hard time convincing the Mrs. Im just watching a prospecting video, then he goes and throws in some "Romantic" music towards the end... well played good man, well played
So is it advantagous to leave the greenery roots in the shovel for the initial wash? If so is this because of possible species caught up in roots or just cant be bothered pulling them out?😊
definitely want to see the yuri eater pan made ....hey you got a copper nail... Mick certainly knows how to make Beckys ...thats a commisionable item if you replay the footage of tippping your gold into the mini pan...you bounceded a significant quantity on you table yup definitely worth the investment....I reckon that paid for your hat
Makes you look like an Aussie gardener picking tomatoes :-) That $5 pan sure proves you don't need fancy equipment to gold pan. Just some good ground and some skill.
@2:35 just as the rock hit the water, it shouted (in the 'Inspector Clouseau' accent😁) 'I spit water at your back for throwing me, may be cold and wet'!
Greetings from remote remote NSW off grid here I extract opals no gold here lol. Always haunt Bunning when travelling I see the Bunnings sign and go Bunnningsssssssssss .
I know that heat. I lived in Australia for 3 months. Almost did not leave. Loved the place. My daughter is home from school - snow day in Michigan. She loves your video and is laughing. Says you are so funny. The oldtimers used pie tins so I guess a planter drain thingy would work great. Thats some nice chunky gold. Hope you got all the stuff that spilled on the table too.
I use an old frisbee, sometimes with a piece of window screen in it for kicks. Cost= $0 from leftovers. Have also made one similar to Micks' from a chunk of bark.
Ol moldy is Australian to good gold videos and Dan Hurd is to Canadian gold videos. Same thing, but different thing. Done same ways, but different ways. Says same thing, but different ways. Finds gold in ways, but other in different ways????? Doesnt matter, Dan Hurd is awesome, Vo-gus is awesome. Same subject, completely different content.
It's a bees vomit you love not butt nectar. On side note butterflies where originally called buttershitters because of the yellow turds they'd leave on leaves
Excellent now all you have to do is fly to America go to a Lowe’s or Home Depot, and find me one just like it………🤔 well done and hello mick cool chainsaw pan and thanks Chris for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
After hi water, do you scrape the moss off the rocks to see if it caught any gold or dig up the grass growing over the rocks to see if the gold got caught in the roots?
The hat makes you look like a crazy Dan Hurd LOL
Dan Hurd is normal? :)
Got to get some wire rim glasses to be a True Dan Hurd look a like...😂😢😅
@@William_BorgesonDan Hurd. Is not normal... Sorry... You must not have watched many of Dan's videos.😮
I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
He does not want to hear that😂

An old man who owned a gold mine a few miles from where I live started prospecting with a stamped metal frying pan
This was such a fun video, Chris!

🏴❤️ Good lad.
The wood pan was also used in Romania (Europe) and it was called a "saitroc".
You read my mind. I just found a $100 bunnings card in a birthday bag I forgot about. Thank you Chris.
Looks like a rare bearded ninny. Crickey, what a sight!
WOW ! ! That’s the good luck pan and I hope it gathers more each time out 👍
So Bruce is good for prospecting gear as well as anticancer protection 😂. Just need the kitchen sink and and a dunny all set, hang on bruce does those too. Life is good!!! Merry Christmas everyone.
Look like Dan Hurd. Lol 🇨🇦
That’s what I thought
...you had so many crumbs hoping out of that little pan on the scale like popcorn, and bits all over the place, even laying in the scale ✌️😎
It's a struggle
@VoGusProspecting not a dis at all, just saying. Not using my glasses puts me at odds with efficiency as well, we all have our... it's all good
Well that was awesome. I like the saxophone music at the end.

You put my eye out. Lol great video
Smashing success for your cheap pan!!
Can we get a video of what the waters look like during one of these storms. Please❤
If its anything like Queensland storms and flash flooding its prob not a good idea. If its flooded, forget it.
Chris I must say, that is awesome footage of stratification.
If I saw this a few weeks ago, I could have saved myself a lot of money. As I just bought a brand name panning kit. I'm off to the big green shed.
Hat makes you look like you have enough brains to put a hat on in the bright sun
Good find Chris, I still say you and Mick work real well together.👍
Looking like a good ol' 1920s farmer with that hat! Good looking though :)
The hat makes you look like a Southern California gardener.! Hahaha lol that is not a bad thing
Always love your content man!!!
Grandma has heaps of them in her grow tent 😂
Well Chris, been thinking about it since you asked, the Bunnings hat makes you look like a farmer of the best kind, a rock farmer………for the win!
When old Becky coughs up a claw you know it's a real yabby pump
Great job✌️♥️
Omg your right
That grass does look like your hair
so to answer your question; you look more like a gardener, that stole grandma's supplies 😂😂. love your channel
Awesome Job Chris!! I'm sure Mick had FUN!! Cheers JJ

Great success high five
Damn fine hat😂, must be a lucky hat, great days panning 💛
LOL You dropped so much gold trying to get it in the weighing dish. I'm not criticizing, I just love your excitement. cheers love your work.
Loving the jazz! :)
Zomg the tiny fingers! 😂😂😂

Dan Hurd, 20 years ago, for sure...
@@ancientmichigan20 years ago? Pfft Dan's only 50

this certainly proves that going back to old spots with 3 more years of knowledge can pay off in a big way.
Take care.

I always assumed that the scientist that named them was dyslexic,, as they are clearly flutter by's, not butter flys...
Ohhh...gravity. 😂😂👍
You look authentic mate 😂👍..
Now you need to get a Bruces Warehouse soil sieve to use as a classifier.
You look like Dan Hurd 😂
I was gonna say that... so, ditto
Go really 'old school' and build a "Golden Fleece" sluice using a sheepskin to trap the gold 👍🏼😀
Hmm your temu pan rocked if hit with a flame to smooth edges
Hammer barn. Everyone’s favourite shop

Hey Crickey, cancer hat!! For our too white mate!!🤣🤣🤣 👌👍✌

Many years ago,I used a FJ Holden hubcap, Worked rather well.
I second that emotion... DH-Mini
You look like a guy wearing a hat, lol, glad you had one along, and hey you found some gold so win, win.....love the videos!!
The moss rock got revenge with the cold splash lol
Just saw Parker is now having jewelry made from his gold finding at his sitr
I was looking for a video on building becky😊
When Mick sands down the yuri-ita pan, he should ebonise the wood to make the gold easier to see.
Full looks like mak prospecting logo in the bunning pans
