I have some tips for you guys. Save Bible verses for lust on your phone, and a playlist full of warnings. Trust me, watch testimonies on hell. If you’re tempted and you see a video where some guy says he went to hell. It scares you into not relapsing. Also get into the mindset of running to God. If you can trust yourself, leave the room while talking to God.

I've been struggling with this addiction for years now, as of now I'm 17 and feel my main problem is I have little to no thoughts in my head most of the day to stop myself most the time, by cause of my addiction. which also has been making me lose track of words and making it difficult to piece together a coherent message. I also feel I have to or want to do something every second of the day, and I can't seem to give myself a break. I don't even know whether or not I should be sharing this
I’m glad you shared this, I’m also 17 so i understand everything you’re saying. I found that having a strong why helps. For example, say we’re trying to start a business. It’s surface level for me to want to just start. Same with this, find a reason to quit beyond just doing so, quit because you want to strengthen your relationship with God, you want to utilize your energy for better purposes, deep things that resonate with you. And ofcourse when tempted you’re gonna forget this or ignore it, so I suggest you write it down and put it on your wall, or wherever you get tempted, your why. Don’t expect a big sudden change too, it’s gonna take time to remove a habit that has roots so deep into your heart and brain, but God is a marvelous God and anything is possible through him, so don’t doubt him ever. Another way is to memorize scripture dealing with temptation, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13, or Galations 5:16, surround yourself with the word of God. To conclude this yap session, remember that this is wrong, yes it feels good in the moment, its supposed to, but you know you can do better, do pushups when you feel tempted and make yourself busy, learn a new skill that makes you feel fulfilled and do it in the name of the Lord, you got this! You’re not perfect so if you fall remember Jesus always will and has loved you, but don’t abuse his generosity and salvation. Remember, nothing changes if nothing changes, change your daily routine, and just try different things out.

Dear, I am sorry you had to go through this at such a young age. Do you know how many people who are much older than you cannot see that the things they are doing are wrong? Being aware of your wrongdoings is a great blessing from God. My advice to you, my sister/brother in Christ, is to take your Bible and go through the Word of God, in humility, bow down to your God, the Creator of your life, and tell him everything that is on your heavy heart. Confess your wrongdoings and repent of your sins, ask God to guide you and help you overcome this burden that is destroying your soul. Be patient because even when it seems like God is silent, He is working on you. The Bible says in Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Seek God’s Word and find what is right and what is wrong in God’s eyes. That is where true wisdom lies. Seek righteous things and God will surely hear you and help you when the time comes. We are all sinners, it is in our nature to be drawn to sin. The only true righteousness comes from our Savior Jesus Christ who paid for everything we have done. When we accept Him as our Savior, He invites us to change our ways and follow Him. In following Him, we try to obey God’s law as best we can, not because we deserve salvation, but because God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to go through so much pain to save us. Christ went through so much pain not only because he wanted to pay for all of us, but because he wanted to show us that he understands how difficult it is to live in this unjust world, but through prayer and the word of God it is possible to overcome any temptation.
I know that you are aware of most of this, but believe me, it is very important to remember it in difficult situations. Finally, my advice to you is to work on weaning yourself off your phone and social media. Social media is the worst place for people who are trying to overcome sins, especially if it is the sin of pornography and the like. Find yourself quality spiritual books to read in addition to the Bible. Surround yourself with people who want to fight with you and motivate you to do what is good. If you don't have them, pray and the Father will gladly send them to you. Take time for physical development as well, train, read about healthy eating. Run away from evil and from people who have no goal in life. It will be difficult at first, but the sooner you start, the better. Trust only the Father and check every information through the Bible. Don't trust me either, but check every word I say through the Bible because every person can make a mistake. Try to do well in school and don't let other people determine whether or not it's worth living that way. Be careful and work on your character.

That the Devil tempted Christ by twisting Bible verses, and Christ overcame temptations by answering with Bible verses to Satan's lies, knowing that Satan was only trying to deceive Him. Well... that sucks. Sometimes I fall into lust just because I think about a girl too long and I fall into it without p*rn. I really struggle to keep my thoughts under control sometimes. I don't think it helps that I have ADHD so my brain is already more focused on getting a dopamine hit than doing anything, and then that with the temptation makes it harder, but I know I can get rid of it with Christ.

@@me-and-JesusChristI searched the term put your thoughts captive to God basically meaning to keep your thoughts in check or stay alert on your thoughts from the root or before the sinful thought forms. it can come from the heart or a desire without even thinking it so that’s sort of what the root means it can be even deeper than the feeling it could me you just allowing to manifesting that desire like just the slightest lustful thing could be a seed to form lustful roots in your thoughts and actions so be aware or very careful of your thoughts when they’re captive because what you allow in your heart and mind will only take root or open a door whenever it’s sinful or good. So I don’t know if I know the full meaning of that term but I can give some sort of a spiritual understanding and my full recommendation to overcome any lust or sinful desire even with ADHD is to cut it off from root don’t allow the sinful feeling to stay in your mind or in your heart or to even start manifesting at all and it is possible. You just need to get very aware when you start allowing lust in and remind yourself that to overcome it you need to start changing thought patterns and start cutting it off completely, thoughts, the imaginary, all of it cut it off from the root. While your doing that you can focus on having a sound mind or keeping yourself pure inside from lust or sin. I’ve tried it and I’m telling you it actually works no matter how tempted you can get I just focus on having my heart pure and at that point lust can’t overcome me it can’t even manifest unless you force it intentionally. instead you overcome it with God but that takes seriousness to do because when your very tempted or you start to give lust a door to manifest a thought a desire or action and allow it to keep growing it’ll get worst and makes it harder to turn back because you’re not cutting it off. It’s just like intrusive thoughts. We all have control over them unless we allow them to go all over the place but instead we can hold them captive and keep them in check with a pure mind focused on God but they still won’t ever have control over you. Pray to God if you really want to delete a particular sin like lust. You can overcome it but it takes strong will and pureness and faith and prayer and all you can give. All you can possibly do to overcome it is pray and also allow habits in like workouts or activities that you can spend your energy while that happens
And that's the reason why you can't. Because you think you can't or the devil has convinced you that you can't. This uphill battle that you're fitting, the circle that you find yourself in, it's already finished. Jesus Himself fought the good fight for you. In His words, it is finished. So take heart to it. Trust me, I have been in your exact position, heck, even know it can feel like I'm back in that cycle but I know God has set me free from it, I just need to use the correct steps going forward. And the beauty is that even if you misstep or make a mistake, God has so much grace that far extends our sins. I mean He paid for them all Himself. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all ye who are weary and burden and I shall give you rest.". It's one of my favourite verses. Jesus is saying directly to cast all your worry, doubt, shame, guilt and sins onto Him and He'll show us what true peace is like for He Himself is the Prince of Peace. All this to say, (and as simple as it might sound, will take some effort but God sees our efforts and rewards us as such), run to God and throw your worries unto Him. Go to Him in time of need and just confess to Him that you can't fight this alone. God is willing to fight for us, as He already has. So don't be discouraged. God's love extends far more than your sins could ever hope to reach. God bless you ❤

I don't think it helps that I have ADHD so my brain is already more focused on getting a dopamine hit than doing anything, and then that with the temptation makes it harder, but I know I can get rid of it with Christ.

@@me-and-JesusChristI searched the term put your thoughts captive to God basically meaning to keep your thoughts in check or stay alert on your thoughts from the root or before the sinful thought forms. it can come from the heart or a desire without even thinking it so that’s sort of what the root means it can be even deeper than the feeling it could me you just allowing to manifesting that desire like just the slightest lustful thing could be a seed to form lustful roots in your thoughts and actions so be aware or very careful of your thoughts when they’re captive because what you allow in your heart and mind will only take root or open a door whenever it’s sinful or good. So I don’t know if I know the full meaning of that term but I can give some sort of a spiritual understanding and my full recommendation to overcome any lust or sinful desire even with ADHD is to cut it off from root don’t allow the sinful feeling to stay in your mind or in your heart or to even start manifesting at all and it is possible. You just need to get very aware when you start allowing lust in and remind yourself that to overcome it you need to start changing thought patterns and start cutting it off completely, thoughts, the imaginary, all of it cut it off from the root. While your doing that you can focus on having a sound mind or keeping yourself pure inside from lust or sin. I’ve tried it and I’m telling you it actually works no matter how tempted you can get I just focus on having my heart pure and at that point lust can’t overcome me it can’t even manifest unless you force it intentionally. instead you overcome it with God but that takes seriousness to do because when your very tempted or you start to give lust a door to manifest a thought a desire or action and allow it to keep growing it’ll get worst and makes it harder to turn back because you’re not cutting it off. It’s just like intrusive thoughts. We all have control over them unless we allow them to go all over the place but instead we can hold them captive and keep them in check with a pure mind focused on God but they still won’t ever have control over you. Pray to God if you really want to delete a particular sin like lust. You can overcome it but it takes strong will and pureness and faith and prayer and all you can give. All you can possibly do to overcome it is pray and also allow habits in like workouts or activities that you can spend your energy while that happens

And that's the reason why you can't. Because you think you can't or the devil has convinced you that you can't. This uphill battle that you're fitting, the circle that you find yourself in, it's already finished. Jesus Himself fought the good fight for you. In His words, it is finished. So take heart to it. Trust me, I have been in your exact position, heck, even know it can feel like I'm back in that cycle but I know God has set me free from it, I just need to use the correct steps going forward. And the beauty is that even if you misstep or make a mistake, God has so much grace that far extends our sins. I mean He paid for them all Himself. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all ye who are weary and burden and I shall give you rest.". It's one of my favourite verses. Jesus is saying directly to cast all your worry, doubt, shame, guilt and sins onto Him and He'll show us what true peace is like for He Himself is the Prince of Peace. All this to say, (and as simple as it might sound, will take some effort but God sees our efforts and rewards us as such), run to God and throw your worries unto Him. Go to Him in time of need and just confess to Him that you can't fight this alone. God is willing to fight for us, as He already has. So don't be discouraged. God's love extends far more than your sins could ever hope to reach. God bless you ❤

To start off you’ll want to do an initial fast 3 day a week fast for 4weeks then maintain it from then on.

@@alextsc1050 It should be God to motivate you. You need to have him deliver you from lust in every way. How exactly do you find yourself in temptation? Do you have a few apps you have (Like tiktok or instagram) that cause you to sin?
I think a good tip is to just run from temptation. Pray to God and exit the house.
