Thanks for this. I’ll be flying through here in September and now have an idea of the rental car return location. Easy to miss after coming around the hairpin turn! Been 25 years since I lived in the area (my high school reunion is why I’m flying through here).
Thanks. On some videos it looks like the rental car return is in the ground transportation center in between parking garages A2 and B2, but in either case, I’ll know to be in the left lane on the arrivals level when I return the car
Glad you enjoyed it! This particular drive was during the lockdown, so it's very quiet. I more recently drove through the airport and it was very busy! -D
Not sure why they have the 405 North markings in the left lane when it’s a right lane on-ramp. I get maybe trying to separate southbound and northbound traffic but still doesn’t make much sense
Even after having driven through this airport dozens of times, I find myself having to be somewhat nimble in reading the signage quickly and cutting across 3 or 4 lanes to be in the one I need to be in. Sometimes I just pull over and take my time. -WMM
This is another video that I have not made public yet, but it shows another drive-thru of the airport upper level, entering from a different street (Campus). ruclips.net/video/yV31qoXospU/видео.html
Thanks. This video here helped, since it’s been 23 years since I’ve been to that airport. Like I said I’ll be flying through here in September for my high school reunion, and wanted to get an idea of the rental car return location. Videos on here have it either right after you come around the hairpin turn on the arrivals level, and other signage in other videos I’ve seen have it closer to the Ground Transportation Center.
I'm so glad you said that. Because I totally messed up twice with this airport. My arrival pickup said C5, but I was like where is this? Must've meant C15. So I would've gone where it said "Taxis" at the 6:27 mark? Because the GPS was telling me to drive past all this and right into a parking garage.
Planning a summer 2023 family (of 8) trip to Disneyland & this video of John Wayne airport (SNA) has convinced me that SNA is a better/wiser choice than LAX. My concern 'tho is ground transportation from airport to Disneyland/hotels. We're coming from Hawaii n my grandchildren's 1st trip to CA n Disneyland...can u recommend transportation n how long will it take? TY😊
SNA is a much better choice than LAX for ease and access to Disney resorts, in my opinion. There are several shuttle bus services, such as Super Shuttle, that may be able to transport 8 people at once. Or another option is to get 2 or 3 Ubers, which would be very convenient. It will take about 20-30 minutes to drive, depending on traffic. Thanks for watching my videos.
After you watch this, take a walkthrough of this airport here: ruclips.net/video/e9QN9EkOYn0/видео.html
As a new guest, I find this video very helpful! Thank you!

Beautiful weather in SoCal... Santa Ana is gorgeous.
Thank you so much! I was looking for an updated John Wayne drive through and walk through before my Frontier flight to Denver this week!
Glad it helped! FYI, here is my walkthrough of the airport: ruclips.net/video/e9QN9EkOYn0/видео.html -WMM

Yes, you need to be in the left lane as you enter the arrivals area (lower level). Have fun at your reunion! -WMM

How was there little to no traffic or pedestrians?
I think it was in the covid days. Back to normal now.
Really awesome ride....thank you...brought back...a lot of OC memories when I was in college..
