This is my favorite song from Blackmore's Night album Village Lanterne, the fifth song titled World of Stone. All rights to this song belong to Blackmore Productions. I have received permission to post this video.

Dean Winchester Depends on the group. Had you been Norse or Celtic, you could've been a strong, proud warrior right alongside the men. Those groups (and others I'm sure) didn't give two shits about the gender. Both even had multiple goddesses who were warriors in their Lore. As long as you could fight and hold your own, you were more than welcome on the field of battle.

She may have had a bow with her already. Thus "We migh need them both" could refer to the need of both a bow and crossbow, making the situation more urgent. Just my take on it.

Actually a 'bolt', also known as an quarrel, is type of short arrow used in a crossbow. if it's 16 inches long or under it's correct to call it a bolt; if it's over 16 inches long you should call it an arrow. So, presumably, Candice has a large crossbow that fires arrows.

the only issue I have is crossbows don't use arrows... and she sings "I fear we might need them both..." as if you might need one and not the other. I think they need to rethink that opening line and come up with something that makes more sense. but it's a tremendous song even with that silly error.
