Due to having 270 degrees of vision, he was able to see the entire stadium around him, and could see that stadium edge that was closest to him, so he could whack the ball in that direction to send it out of the park. The ball probably hit a car while it was at it
Not only do I think your theory is quite plausible, but I also agree with you in the belief that the ball caused damage wherever it landed. Although we cannot say for certain since it is out of view, I would reckon the parking lot or at least a road with cars parked on the side would be behind the stadium. This would give us reasonable certainty to conclude that a car or other object was damaged in the baseball impact.

Starring Chubby Chris, Martin the Smelly Martian, Misaki Akimaki, Silke siking everyone out with 3 homers, Shaky Jessie with the reverse photosynthesis, Luca (my beloved and favorite CPU Mii) getting 9 fouls in a row, Elisa being better than Sakura, the legends with max eye width, and Speedy Nick!
