You are right that the tech has moved on, but this method is still in use today. Dentures can be injection moulded (rather than the 2-part moulding seen here), or now 3D printed with SLA printing. The declining popularity of 'full' dentures does mean that the development of alternative production methods is not as swift as other dental techniques, such as crowns and implants though.
i use green putty around the teeth where the anatomy is at......but i keep the bottom of the teen exposed so i can put yellow stone and teen wont come out when deflasking.....they come out clean and easy to finish....i dont use a sandblaster anymore

I did my deflasking but there was dental stone attached to my fitting surface of denture base. How I'm suppose to remove it. Plssss help
Generally an ultrasonic should loosen up the stone. If not only choice is to slowly pick away at it

Those came out filthy. I could teach you how to flask PROPERLY
