Paul's statement about the Law being given through a Mediator is from the Second Temple literatures. He and the NT writers aren't making stuffs up. Also, the Exodus account says the 10 Commandments were written by the fingers of God.

Angel just means Messenger like Malach in Hebrew it doesn’t just specify a heavenly creature. Read Justin Martyr dialogue with trypho he teaches Jesus id the Angel of the Lord in the early second century.

That the law was given with angels present is in the Tanakh, Deuteronomy 33 vs 2 "The LORD came from Mount Sinai, he rose like the sun over Edom and shone on his people from Mount Paran. For all who are saying that the text reads: "He won't frogive rebellion", not "He *can't* forgive rebellion" and therefore he can forgive but doesn't, that is not the point of the text. The point is that the angel himself does not have the authority to forgive. He won't forgive since God's name is in Him and God does not want to forgive rebellion. Therefore, when Jesus does forgive, it is not of his own original pre-existent authority, but he is AUTHORISED to do so by God, not because he himself is God. This is clear from other NT passages where Jesus is GIVEN all authority and he will hand it back at the end of days.

I read the verse Exod 23:21 in Hebrew, and it says: הִשָּׁמֶר מִפָּנָיו וּשְׁמַע בְּקֹלוֹ אַל־תַּמֵּרa בּוֹ כִּי לֹא יִשָּׂא לְפִשְׁעֲכֶם כִּי שְׁמִי בְּקִרְבּוֹ. The verse does not say that the Angel lacks independent agency. It also does not say that the Angel of HaShem lacks the power to forgive sins. It simply says that as a consequence of embittering or causing grief to (hif. מרר) the Angel of HaShem, he will not forgive (lit. bear, lift) your transgressions. It's a warning, a consequence of disobedience, not a statement about agency. Even the JPS translates: "Do not defy him, for he will not pardon your offenses, since My Name is in him" And it is very interesting that HaShem puts his name (Shmi) in this particular Angel. I don't think that is said of Michael, Gabriel or any other angel.
I am a Christian and I have never heard of this before today. Everyone that I know understands that Angels are created beings and are not divine. I would suggest that whoever is doing this is some small group and not representative of Christian theology. Angels are messengers, as in the book of Daniel. God sends angels to speak to human beings. That's it.

As a Christian, I love what you spoke! I am actually disturbed that Christians stand outside of synagogues and Mosques to do what you said. I say that because Chicago is where I live and it is disturbing that we have Chicagoans who think that way! I must also state that I am not a typical Christian. I don’t believe Jesus ever cared to be called the son of God (the romans distorted that), God is ONE, and love reading the Midrash because I find Jesus quoted the Midrash often! I am still a little confused about the two powers….or should I say it is NOT Christian to believe in two powers. Some Christians go to the extent of expressing God with 3 essences (similar to water:ice,liquid, and air (clouds), but never distinct beings. My first guess is they were a cult much like Mormons or Jehovah witnesses.
@@samsont7786 There are definitely many Christians out there that give us a bad name, but I can say with certainty that the majority of Christians (with the exception of the son if God stance I have) like me do not believe in two powers or that G-d is literally 3 persons. We use that word to describe the aspects of G-d. If you don’t believe me, you can go to any church website and check. They always have a what we believe page. Now you are correct that typical Christians do believe Christ was the son God. That is a belief that I have been reflecting on and researching about over the last few years AND I can’t say with full certainty that he needed to be the son of God to do what he did.
The doctrine of the trinity is there is one God (or one divine essence) and three distinct persons who each possess the divine essence. Three persons of one God; not three essences of one essence.

The wholesale concept of the Trinity didn’t exist prior to the Christianization of England, Ireland, Scotland, etc. So basically the last surviving Celtic peoples that Rome hadn’t completely wiped out. For the Celts-the number 3 was Holy. Their gods and goddesses came in sets of 3. Three distinct beings ruling over one aspect in the material world. So when they were trying to proselytize these people groups AND explain who Jesus, G-d, and the Holy Spirit were in a manner they could understand-they used the Celts concept of 3 gods over one.

I have a question I have been going back and forth with a Christian about the verses in the NT where satan was trying to tempt God to get him to worship him in Matt 3:8-9 I told them there is no way satan can take God anywhere. And try to tempt God with what belongs to Him already. How does that even make sense? They said from a Judeo- Christian point of view it makes sense. My question is would Jews understand this view of God being carried and tempted by God?
One of the things about the New Testament is that it cannot prove itself, that’s circular reasoning. The claims of the New Testament or anything else for that matter has to be tested by the standard of the Hebrew Scriptures. By this the New Testament is invalid and means nothing of truth. Christians get into long recitations of New Testament verses and I always tell them that it’s not in the Hebrew Scriptures it isn’t authoritative, valid and means nothing. They might as well be reciting Gandolf from Lord of the Rings, it means nothing. Gandolf might even have more truth. That being said, there are several questions in your question. One of them is the premise that Jesus was God and could Satan temp God. Well Jesus was not God or divine. The fact that in the story Satan is tempting Jesus is proof in the story that Jesus is not God. Also the earth is God’s anyway so there is no earth or kingdom that Satan can give. It’s untrue Christianese drivel.

The truth of whom God is and how we can be forgiven and how we are to live on this earth , i believe the jews know the laws and know who they worship! Only God can reveal this to you! While Christians worship the trinity or the son, i figured Jesus worshiped God! Would pray to God! And when exalted by God was given a miracle or blessing to be close to God! The prophet Daniel understood and a day leter explained and interpreted the dream! Now i am not a king, and i cant offer i kingdom or authority, but i can speak truth, and since i am nobody seeking fame of money ,i desire to repent and worship God! And only want truth that also will help the kingdom of God! In other words if God told me things or showed me things at such a young age and later allowed whom he sincerely loves the truth then i would know 100% God had explained it ! When i was young my desire was to find someone, now i am older and still desire to find someone! Why ? I fear and love God! And what ever i have belongs to God and those who speak truth! My loyalty! Would be for those whom God loves! Not where i was born, not what churches claim to know truth !but whom God knows he loves! ...i still seek to explaine things ,but i hope and pray All who call upon the true God! I think your argument kind of falls on it's face when the Christian responds that Jesus isn't forgiving by his own authority. As the son of a landlord, I don't actually forgive rent myself because I don't own the property. The Hebrew takes away all confusion, “Hashem said to my lord,” would be a better translation. “LORD” is the way most translations render the Tetragrammaton and the word “adonai” means, “my lord,” in the sense of nobles and commoners. As for the idea that when God states that there are no gods before or after Him and that He is “alone” this simply implies that he does not share His almighty authority with another. For all who are saying that the text reads: "He won't frogive rebellion", not "He *can't* forgive rebellion" and therefore he can forgive but doesn't, that is not the point of the text. The point is that the angel himself does not have the authority to forgive. He won't forgive since God's name is in Him and God does not want to forgive rebellion. Therefore, when Jesus does forgive, it is not of his own original pre-existent authority, but he is AUTHORISED to do so by God, not because he himself is God. This is clear from other NT passages where Jesus is GIVEN all authority and he will hand it back at the end of days.

I read the verse Exod 23:21 in Hebrew, and it says: הִשָּׁמֶר מִפָּנָיו וּשְׁמַע בְּקֹלוֹ אַל־תַּמֵּרa בּוֹ כִּי לֹא יִשָּׂא לְפִשְׁעֲכֶם כִּי שְׁמִי בְּקִרְבּוֹ. The verse does not say that the Angel lacks independent agency. It also does not say that the Angel of HaShem lacks the power to forgive sins. It simply says that as a consequence of embittering or causing grief to (hif. מרר) the Angel of HaShem, he will not forgive (lit. bear, lift) your transgressions. It's a warning, a consequence of disobedience, not a statement about agency. Even the JPS translates: "Do not defy him, for he will not pardon your offenses, since My Name is in him" And it is very interesting that HaShem puts his name (Shmi) in this particular Angel. I don't think that is said of Michael, Gabriel or any other angel.

I am a Christian and I have never heard of this before today. Everyone that I know understands that Angels are created beings and are not divine. I would suggest that whoever is doing this is some small group and not representative of Christian theology. Angels are messengers, as in the book of Daniel. I have a question I have been going back and forth with a Christian about the verses in the NT where satan was trying to tempt God to get him to worship him in Matt 3:8-9
I told them there is no way satan can take God anywhere. And try to tempt God with what belongs to Him already. How does that even make sense?

Satan is an Angel of G-d doing the job G-d creates him for, never goes against G-d and angels have no free will and Matthew is not a Jewish text.
One of the things about the New Testament is that it cannot prove itself, that’s circular reasoning. The claims of the New Testament or anything else for that matter has to be tested by the standard of the Hebrew Scriptures. By this the New Testament is invalid and means nothing of truth. Christians get into long recitations of New Testament verses and I always tell them that it’s not in the Hebrew Scriptures it isn’t authoritative, valid and means nothing. They might as well be reciting Gandolf from Lord of the Rings, it means nothing. Gandolf might even have more truth.
That being said, there are several questions in your question. One of them is the premise that Jesus was God and could Satan temp God. Well Jesus was not God or divine. The fact that in the story Satan is tempting Jesus is proof in the story that Jesus is not God.
Also the earth is God’s anyway so there is no earth or kingdom that Satan can give. It’s untrue Christianese drivel.
In Hebrew Bible Zech.3:2. States Yahweh rebuke you Satan.

In Christanity we believe Jesus preached the gospel it means good news we believe the good news he preached about the coming of the kingdom of God and to redeem for our sins .
But in Quran I noticed that a gospel Book which was revealed to Jesus so what good news did Jesus actually preach?

1) the DSS are not originals! If you claim that the Masoretic text is corrupted, then please present the _Original_ as your evidence!
2) You are presenting a Christian translation of the DSS. The manuscript was written in Hebrew, not English. Here follows the better translation of DSS Deut. 32:43:
“Rejoice, O heavens with Him, and worship Him all you angels, for He will avenge the blood of His sons, and avenge His enemies, and He will repay those hating Him, and He PURGES the land of His people.”
There is no "atonement" there, which is just a futile Christian manipulation of the Hebrew text.
3) The verse (whether in the Masoretic text or the DSC) is about YHWH, not about Jesus or a messiah.
So Hebrews 1:6 is a misrepresentation of Deut. 32:43, which has nothing to do with Jesus.

It clearly reads the Lord is out of Heaven, and yet, we know the Lord was speaking to Abraham in person, and we know Abraham worshipped the Lord he was talking to in person on earth.
