Hallo! I actually planned to find a German tutor on iTalki anyway. Seeing your video and the discount link was perfect timing. I'm about to sign up now. Great work on your videos. Thank you for caring and sharing!
Amazing! All the best on your language learning journey and thank you for the support!
Aldi Talk is the best!
I love them!
Happy birthday month!
Thank you!
Joyeux Anniversaire, Kendra!! 🎂
Wow, 7GB of data, talk and text for 13 euros?! Don't move from your student housing until absolutely necessary, lol 🤣! This was great seeing how affordable the cost of living is in Bavaria/Germany in general, in comparison to 🇨🇦. It seems like one can really have a good quality of life without needing a ridiculously high income. Thanks for sharing!
Merci!
I would be crazy to leave, right? 😂 Thanks for watching, northern neighbor!
Holy Moly...that's insanely amazing. I had to do a replay on your monthly rent...I was like "that doesn't sound right"...lol. WOW. The financial stress for students in USA is ridiculous. As a non-student the living expenses in Germany are far less than in California. One example...our property tax in California is about 6K a year, whereas in Germany our property tax is around a 100 Euros for the year. Happy Birthday Month
I had to a double-take when I first saw it too! lol
100 euros?? Yeah, that settles it...I'm buying a cute little house in Bavaria. And thank you!
im almost done with studying now but i think about adding another semester just to keep the cheap transportation-ticket lol
personally, amazon prime isnt even my worst addiction. i think my main problem with spending too much money lately is all about twitch subs but i cant resist,,, i get emotes and ... and make people happy by subscribing to them. aaaaa
oh right, the whole video i was wondering what the full sentence on ur shirt is 😅
LOVE you vids! You are sooo GORGE!! Has ANYONE told you that you FAVOR The WINANS Family!!! Esp CC & BB WINANS
Maybe you should mention that German student housing is never a shared room and usually even as a one room apartment with a small kitchen and own small bathroom.
Good suggestion. Might make a separate video about student housing, thanks!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰🙃
I’m a college student in America did you take the GRE to get your masters in Germany.
No, it's only required by some schools/programs in Germany.
Wait what phone plan do you have?
Alditalk!
Even if you double the amount you mention to spend it would not be out of the normal for other cities. Semester fee 300€ and rent about 400 something is not unusual. Further in the state Baden- Württemberg a Semester fee of 1500€ for non EU citizens applies. I think it was a bad decision in the Landtag to prevent poor but bright students from coming. At least the country should offer a possibility for these students get around that on reasons of humanity or marks.
Agreed. I’m even more grateful for my low cost of living now
You forgot the hairdresser bill or do you do it yourself?
I do it myself 😂
That really impresses me, I can't imagine that it's easy to do by yourself. But good to know that this is possible, as I imagine it to be very difficult.
wow, nice that you are always so positive. a german student would complain all the time how shit it is.
I try to be 😅
But you are very economical, only 40 € for groceries a week, the fucking prawns cost me 20 € yesterday alone.
Ouch.
Yeah, this is definitely the cheaper side of things. I don’t buy meat/fish often.
