When you can play anything it opens up so many doors cause even the pro's are always looking for good reliable people to play with and that have the chops to do it :-)
That is an important distinction. I love getting the chance to paly for all these people but they have to call me for that to happen. If I want to have more options, I'll need to do exactly that.

This was so much fun. Maybe my favorite vlog of all-time!!! It must be hard to chart and play all the songs and not mess up! Have an idea; maybe one of the young carpenters in Nashville can build you a portable, sturdy, lighweight platform so that you can be on the same level as the others when you play the cajon. I can visualize what would work, but I am the only guy in America who failed shop class in middle school (back then called Junior High School).
You're right on. I could have started the vlog 3 or 4 days before. Lots of charts and changes of songs and longer sets paired down to 10 songs.. not very exciting to watch in a vlog but the secret sauce for sure. That's really what makes it possible to pull it off and make it great fun when the show starts for that many acts back to back. I'm happy to be up front at all.. don't think a riser is in my near future :D
I tell ya Neighbor being there in person getting to see you play with all those artists is an experience I wouldn't trade for anything. Kind of kicking myself for not staying for day #3. I was mesmerized by the entire 13 minutes. I couldn't pause for a second. (and, I'm not gonna lie, I was STARVING). It was so great to see/hear you play, and also all the vlog/BTS parts here, those were great as well. #ilikeleftoverstoo I do get a ton of support from these artists and part of that is this town, at least in the music scene seems to have some genuine community going on. I think another reason is, I'm there to make them sound better vs. compete. I like doing that and maybe they can tell.
Always remember while climbing the musical *vine* that a branch may break when reaching for it... and that's when you dig in and thrust the rest of your soul and mind to accomplish your goals to be the best you can be. (Great job, Mia!)
I will remember that because I expect it'll happen more than once. There is a scary amount of luck that has to happen to succeed in this business and I know things can go in both directions. Thanks for your encouragement.
You sure keep busy. First, you had a squeeze song playing when your video first started. Would love to see you cover any squeeze song. 2nd, I think you are an amazing musician and like the woman said, you can do it all. The best part of watching you, is your passion for music. First off, thank you very much for subscribing and I hope I keep earning your support. That week started pretty simple but as the dates got closer, calls started coming in that made it important for me to figure out how long it takes to get from one stage to another. That was the first time I even had to think about anything like that but it was a total rush to pull it off!
yes - it was also a little stressful when the shows were back to back. The playing never really worried me but being in the right place with my gear set up did for sure.

Mark I appreciate you and supporting my original music is amazing and very helpful. Your right for sure that there will be lots of up and downs and right now, there has been a lot of ups recently. I think the truth of that no matter what you do might be part of what I like about songwriting so much. It's always there no matter what and every time I start again, it's like limitless potential in so many ways. I can overstate the difference that even just one songs breaking through could make for the prospect of me staying a musician for a long time and I can write no matter if my phone is ringing for work or not. Anyway, you said the magic words with my originals and I appreciate it.

I know what I would be thinking about other than this very high octane country music that really excells above the rest! The stars of Nashville should push their beautiful voices inside those mainstream contemporaries because they need more inspiration from the best! First off, thank you very much for subscribing and I hope I keep earning your support. That week started pretty simple but as the dates got closer, calls started coming in that made it important for me to figure out how long it takes to get from one stage to another. That was the first time I even had to think about anything like that but it was a total rush to pull it off!

yes - it was also a little stressful when the shows were back to back. The playing never really worried me but being in the right place with my gear set up did for sure.

I am so pleased you got to play drum kit. I get the feeling that will happen a lot more in the future. Keep doing your thing, I would not be supried in a few years if you are the most sort after musician, not just in Nashville, but globaly. Not to many people get to play for 18 differnt artiest at such a majoy event. You have something really speacil.

It wont always be easy, you wont always be the cream of the crop, thats just how life works. but you have not seen anywhere near the best of what is ahead for you yet. Compair CMA freast last year to this year... now mulitilp that increase..... you get what I am rambling on about.

Mark I appreciate you and supporting my original music is amazing and very helpful. Your right for sure that there will be lots of up and downs and right now, there has been a lot of ups recently. I think the truth of that no matter what you do might be part of what I like about songwriting so much. It's always there no matter what and every time I start again, it's like limitless potential in so many ways. I can overstate the difference that even just one songs breaking through could make for the prospect of me staying a musician for a long time and I can write no matter if my phone is ringing for work or not. Anyway, you said the magic words with my originals and I appreciate it.

I know what I would be thinking about other than this very high octane country music that really excells above the rest! The stars of Nashville should push their beautiful voices inside those mainstream contemporaries because they need more inspiration from the best! Mia here we go again but keep up the great work, still very proud of your progress so far but straight A's for you! Alot of cool bands at this years Grammy awards to emulate for years to come!

There's really no such thing as late on YT. It's one of the features I'm really fond of. I've fallen in love with bands to later find out they disappeared a long time ago..

Maybe we'll laugh or wonder what the hell were we thinking! But just like those bands from long ago, we may live on too in cyberspace. At least the echos of our past.
