Go read 100 years quest, Lucy is now a really capable fighter, and she doesn't need to be rescued all the time! And she did a badass thing on chapter 103 if you are interested
@@AppleBloom21no she didn’t create the start dress,when she first used the star dress during Tartaros arc the celestial spirit king granted her the start dress of Aquarius with the magic Aquarius left behind,this might not be completely accurate but the first dress was granted to her by the king which means that ether she got the rest the same way or just through the selective spirits permission

recently in the sequel manga she used a star dress mix of gemini and aquarius. She flooded the entire room and used the water to create clones of erza, natsu, gray and wendy as distractions. Then she made clones of yukino and the queen of fiore to cast a celestial trinity spell called gottfried. Honestly it was the coolest thing she's ever done. Mind you, this was all after using several star dresses and the leo x virgo star dress mix. Now she's canonically the member of team fairy tail with the highest amount of magic power
@@mageofstuff she definitely doesn’t have the highest amount of power. Natsu, Gray, erza, mira, gajeel, Laxus, Gildarts all have way more power than her. Wendy does as well

Only Natsu might be stronger than her in that sense, the others haven't really done much feats that required big amount of magic power
