You’re right I bought the sound track and was disappointed that it was not the version in the film. Melvyn told me when the record company asked for the song the had not mixed the final version yet. So they sent a scratch version and they placed it on the CD and the film version ended up only in the film. The CD version was so wack I never played it again. This was the version that truly captured Dana and Mervyn’s chemistry. The magic is in the version the other cd version was totally unbelievable. You don’t feel it. This version the Magic is undeniably!!

This reminds me of this book I’m reading where this girl’s family runs a wedding business, then, when she least expects it, she falls in love when she was never looking for love in the first place, especially after the sad incident with her last, the book is called ‘Once and for All’.
This is the mix that was in the movie but you will Never find retail. This mix Never made the soundtrack CD the demo is on the sound and this version was lost in the sauce..... Very Sad this version could have made the difference in modest sales and a Million seller.
Another good JLO movie is Maid In Manhattan which was out close to the same time as this movie... I forgot that Judy Greer was also in 13 Going On 30. I have seem Bridgette Wilson Sampras (Fran) somewhere before. I looked her up and it says she was Miss USA. She was also in Billy Madison, Mortal Kombat, Last Action Hero, Extreme Ops etc.
